AdzKyle 7,832
He is out of favour at Spurs. Not had the best of times there but he is a pretty solid CBThink he would do well with Carlos
FlippinEck 3,702
I think they are wanting to get a lot back of what they paid, something like £5M atlhough they may be willing to sell, we were linked with him when PLG was here

AdzKyle 7,832
Transfer fee would be a stumbling block though. Prob out of our price range
gary2006 123
if we can't afford shittu's wages what chance have we got with a premiership player?
bluenose_72 198
kaboul is hoping to secure a move to pompey.
rfc_no1fan 13
They are looking for £6 million for him.If we cant afford £4 million for Davis and cant afford to pay Shittu's wages, how on earth can we play £6 million and £40k a week?
AdzKyle 7,832
Loan move?? No transfer fee means we can pay more in wages

Muff 245
If we cant afford a Cgampionship player then we aint going to be able to afford a Premiership player who is on pretty big wages.Kabul is also a bomb-scare!
Speuan 1
If we cant afford a Cgampionship player then we aint going to be able to afford a Premiership player who is on pretty big wages.Kabul is also a bomb-scare!Aye, hes adefender who thinks hes a forward. bit like Amo used to do, and not that good in the air either. andyboy66 0
Saying on Talksport that he's going to Portsmouth. And they're asking if Harry's seen him play, makes loads of mistakes!! :unionflag:
AdzKyle 7,832
Not referring to Kaboul, but could a loan be a possibility? Maybe a third or fourth choice player in their position at a premiership club who wants first team games for a season?I know people will say that 3rd or 4th choice is no good for Rangers but we cant attract the top players at the moment
Speuan 1
we can attract Cuellar....
disgruntled_bear 157
Another player that would be priced out the market :willy:
Muff 245
We'll just stick to our Christian Dailly's, Andy Webster's, Mark Reynold's.....and every so often a Carlos Cuellar will come around.
AdzKyle 7,832
we can attract Cuellar....Yes but as Muffger said, its not very often we attract players of his quality and certainly not from within the uk
GersDude90 1
Spurs want 8 mil for chimbonda, who has already been told he's not wanted and wont play another game for spurs. We couldnt afford Kaboul, or his wages. We really need to look about the continent for a quality CB. Anyone in England are vastly over priced. AdzKyle 7,832
I agree. Players are not worth the money that the english clubs think they are. However WS doesnt seem to be looking to the continent.....yet. I think the next CB will come from Europe instead of the Uk, so hopefully will be of a pretty decent standard at a reasonable price
