davie_bluenose 20 Posted July 17, 2008 Share Posted July 17, 2008 Just reading up on our new womens team, it makes me wonder why we were so slow of the mark, recently, this has become trademark. I would have thought this is something we would have done by now, yet, as usual, we seem to be watching what septic are doing and following their lead rather than actually do it off our own backs. It doesnt just apply to that. Things like signing players, we seem to drag our heels over and over again, I just dont see why we cant get it sorted properly and stop going back with rediculous bids (Naismith the perfect example). Another example was Manchester. They didnt force any issues initially with the City council, Police etc to be sure we were well looked after..................looked what happened their. Thy seem to sit back and "see" what happens instead of getting of their arses and actually making these things happen. Celtic aren't. We are ahead of them. We started card displays. Celtic copied. (poorly) We were ahead of them. We done public training days. Celtic followed. We were ahead of them. We have 51 titles. Like last year last minute bid for big Italian striker was very slow off the mark and completely fucking embarrassing. Agree with some of the thread davie_bluenoses points for sure.
