papaguy51 912
He has to come for the ball more though. He often wants to let it come to him, allowing people to nip in and steal it. And he has to be cuter when fouling people, sometimes it's so bloody obvious. agreed , could end up getting booked for silly fouls The whole 'turning round to select target' thing before he fouls is annoying. He could learn from Chris Sutton (can't believe I said that).
Youllneverwinaway 0
He could learn from Chris Sutton (can't believe I said that). He was the master of that. Just how many fouls does he have to give away though before he realises. I mean big Kirk stopped Foul Throws after his fourth. Can Boyd no learn ? It was the same on Sunday as well. Youllneverwinaway 0
Velicka just held the ball up there with his first touch. Thats more times than Boyd over the last 180 minutes.
McBoyd 355
Just watched the highlights, good goal from Boyd. Looked to play well today, cracking pass by him to Novo, shame Novo couldn't put it away! How he missed that open goal either! Jeez He definitely seems to play better in a 4-3-3 with two wingers, i reckon Fleck could do well on his left. bluenoz 30,805
Boydy was good tonight. Why can't the critical people compliment ( Muff ) his pass to Novo. The best goal scorer at Ibrox since McCoist , Stein and Forrest
disgruntled_bear 157
1st half Boyd was good, 2nd half he was poor. The old Boyd saying....It's like having a 1 goal head start, then playing with 10 for the rest of the game was in full view last night.
Amac9 2,060
To be fair to Boyd I thought he done well last night. He seemed to enjoy playing with Naismith and Novo either side of him. How would that go with Novo---Boyd---Aaron?

At least our defence has held out for once then

The old Boyd saying....It's like having a 1 goal head start, then playing with 10 for the rest of the game was in full view last night. Snd half last night pretty much the whole team played poor, so if your saying playing with Boyd was like playing with a man down then last night (in the 2nd half) playing with Mendes, Dailly and Naismith was like playing with 3 men down. Danny 9
I thought Boyd had one of his better matches last night. He worked quite hard, his pass for Novo was excellent and he was in the right place for his goal.
