im just wondering if we are asking the wrong question here ?

the question i would like to know the answer to is

who appointed the three people onto the panel?

were their names drawn out of a hat maybe?

or were they placed onto this commitee by office bearers

within the scottish farcical association.

03/10/2011 - The Scottish Football Association appoints Gary Allan QC to its Judicial Panel.

Following a complete revision of the disciplinary procedures governing the sport from the highest professional to the lowest amateur level, the Scottish Football Association has appointed a Judicial Panel to adjudicate in disciplinary matters arising both on and off the field of play, amongst players and other parties involved in the game. The Association has appointed Gary Allan QC as an Appeal Chair member of its new Judicial Panel. His principal remit is to preside over appeals from decisions of disciplinary tribunals, including those under the new fast track system following on field incidents, but he will also sit at first instance in matters of complexity.

Gary said “The Scottish Football Association has worked very hard and very carefully, and it has devised a robust disciplinary code and process which it is confident will address the future and some matters which may have caused concern in the past. In this new chapter, I am honoured and pleased to be able to make this contribution to the work of the Association”.

"The red card was reduced to nothing by SPL secretary Ian Blair, sports commentator Alistair Murning and Ray Morrison of the Lanarkshire Referees' Association who sat on the panel and studied DVD evidence after reading Colvin's version of events."

Looks like these two have some panel experience.

It's just daft to think that in this day and age the names of Regan's secret panel wouldn't become public knowledge in a matter of hours.

Hi guys

Its time to back off. If anyone has been put on this board it is independant for a reason it doesn't matter who the club are the same would have happened to anyother club in this situation if you don't agree then this is paranoia. Anyone associated with a club outside the SPL has no interest in damaging another team, what would be the point?

Hello Raith Rovers fan.

How does it make you feel that one of your directors is a filthy scumbag and is about to kill Scottish football.

Goodbye Raith Rovers fan.

if this panel was independent why are they making up rules that didn't exist with previous clubs who went into admin?

This 12 months no signings ruling is out of the blue and has no precedent , this is a disgrace and better be over turned or the rest of scottish football will regret this.

Be very careful here people. This guy is threatening legal action to anyone who names him.

Don't see such a claim flying but you never know. :)
