  1. My god, ok. Ally has destroyed whatever long-termism we as fans were looking for, the opportunity is gone. We now need to get out of this league and just now it's not looking good for us gaining automatic promotion. Staying in this division could destroy us, we need out this season. The only option open to us at this moment in time, given our current situation was to get some loan signings in. It's short term yes but that has been forced upon us due to poor mismanagement, over-spending in the wrong areas, and having no real plan. Once we're in the premier league we can start to reconstruct, now is not the time we've lost the chance. If we are still getting loans from newcastle at that point then I would be concerned. The safety of rangers football club is paramount, at this moment in time this is what is required in order to achieve this, be thankful.

  2. I think it's only fair that, in return, we give Newcastle five of our players...to keep.

  3. make sure to report the abusive twitter trolls guys, have their accounts locked up and fuck up their night. Also let the guys know the Rangers fans are behind them, and not to listen to the no mar cunts. Sad obsessed wankers.

  4. Regardless of views on Ashley etc everyone should give these players a fair chance, all they've done is accept an opportunity

  5. This influx of 5 players is going to be good. At one level its a right old wet fish smack in the chops for most if not all of the squad that was there up til last night. A message of 'collectively you have demonstrated time and again you are not good enough to win important games and you are turning up fat, dumb and happy. Taking the wages and not delivering. Letting the Club down and most of all letting the Support down'. So influx of 5 and I guess an unstated message to McD via DL to make sure they are played and more than that that they are played in their positions and given free rein to show what they can do. And for those who are benched - sit and fucking well watch because you put yourselves on the bench. You had a chance - plenty of chances - and you've let us down. Influx of 5. What a statement that is about the crippled state of play at Rangers. McCoist should be ashamed of himself as this starts from the managerial top and he had the reins for a long time and failed to deliver team of match winning performers in the very league where it matters most. Took the money - still taking the money - concentrated far too much on being the laughing lad and not enough on sorting out how to lead a team to win the big important games and to dominate the lesser teams with class and style of play that kept the Support attending Ibrox. What McD will make of this is anyones guess. A guy at the end of his tether - resigned - no motivation - under the cosh of the media, the Support and under the cosh of Ashley via DL. If he doesn't play them he'll get lambasted. If he does play them and they do well those benched will be criticised even more for their failure to deliver. If they play and we still don't win promotion McD and McC will be blamed as they allowed things to decline too far and too fast so that even an influx of 5 could not turn it round. Interesting days ahead at the business end of the season.

  6. No idea, mate... Years of being second best? Greetin'-faced Timmy calls up on the phone-in where people usually have some kind of humorous take on a footballing or sporting story. This guy was just dripping po-faced bitterness from his toothless moof. He was supposed to be calling up about the Old Firm match but started off by saying that Rangers and their fans need a lesson from the 'hierarchy' because of Mike Ashley, then went on to say that we shouldn't be allowed back in the SPFL Premiership ever again because "Charles Green said they didn't need to play in the top league in Scotland." Boo-fucking-hoo! He also said that no matter who was in charge, the Rangers fans were the real problem as we have "no respect for football or the rules of the game" and "the problem for you guys down south is that it is selective reporting... selective reporting, ah'm tellin' ye... You don't get to hear the full story of what we have to deal with... please, help us in our fight against the big, bad Rangers... Colin? Mr. Murray? Anyone?" *click* -brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr- ------------------------------------------ Welcome to Deadlinesville; Population: YOU.

  7. I'm happy at these loan signings, it might just be the difference between winning a play off and remaining in the championship for another year. I still have serious concerns over Ashley...how does that fit with the pathetic pigeon-holing that's going on in this thread?

  8. Anyone who sees this as a negative are not truly rangers supporters. Those who think these players aren't good enough don't fully understand our present situation and are most probably glory hunters. The rest are just loonatic King supporters whom are annoyed ashley has done something positive for us. I'm not an ashley supporter and I don't trust the board but this is a step in the right direction given our current situation. There was no other way forward, if you don't understand that then there is no hope for you. I reiterate - we have STRENGTHENED the squad, we have injected new players preventing the inherent staleness occurring from lack of additions, we have given the fans and players hope. Aye, but King's no in charge - pathetic.

  15. I am not sure how it possibly could go spectacularly wrong. If they are shite, they dont play, we revert back to the shite we have and the Newcastle lads get shipped back to Newcastle in June. Its all fairly unspectacular.

  21. I think he's teasing you. Your assessment is pretty accurate. I'm guessing that these players would have had to agree to come here. So anyone who's prepared to take the risk (to more than just their playing career!), coming into the shitstorm that is Rangers FC right now, gets a big thank you from me!

  29. Mike Ashley cares if Rangers get promoted. He doesn't care if we beat Celtic in the third most important competition we play in. Why can some people not see the genuine benefit of his involvement, and instead just find a way to piss on it.

  33. Glad this turned in to something concrete as my sources where not the most well known channels I'd ever use. Look, it's not perfect, 5 players on the fringe on a premier league side. However, the current crop have proved they are not good enough to challange Hearts, if these kids come in and improve our defence and midfield even slightly then I don't see the issue. Not a fan of MA but this could be his first attempt at trying to win some fans over, clever move that could pay off IMO.

  39. I for one wish every single one of the lads that come to us all the very best of luck. Something needs to happen to freshen the squad up and I would hope that anyone coming in is given a chance because as many on here have said they surely cant be any worse than some of the impostors currently on show both on the pitch and in the dugout. Good luck lads and welcome to Rangers, who knows it might work out and you might want to stick around.

  45. Day using this E E G , this week too , AUSTRALIAN golf star Jason Day has turned to complex brain training to take his mental game to a new level and says early results show it's working. Day will start his days at this week's World Golf Championships tournament at Doral's TPC Blue Monster with a machine strapped to his head that beeps whenever he is using the desired side of his brain. The 25-year-old Australian has used the wireless electroencephalogram (EEG) for the past month and is convinced it helped him in his top-10 finish at Pebble Beach and an impressive run to third place in the World Golf Championships Match Play. He uses it in sessions every morning and night and also during practice so he can better focus on employing the right side of his brain and then replicate it on course. "My mental game has improved 110 per cent since working with this system," Day said. "It teaches me how to get in the zone, shows me what it feels like when I'm in the zone and allows me to work on replicating it. "If the computer shows I'm using my right brain then I know I am focused. "I missed just three greens in the last two rounds at Pebble Beach after getting used to it, something I've not done before." Day has been through two sports psychologists in the previous two seasons, but has now turned to technology. "It was very difficult for me to measure my mental game before as I'd hit a shot feeling great over it and it would be good but feeling the same on the next one I'd cut the hell out of it," he said. "A mental coach would just say the process was better on one or you were thinking positive thoughts but I had a hard time always believing that. "This is actually measurable." No , I'm no Thermo in disguise
