Nothing he has actually said has indicated that he's unhappy or desperate to leave. On the contrary..... “I’m really enjoying it here and I thank the gaffer for playing me. “I’m here until the end of the season so hopefully you’ll see a lot more from me and what I can do. “I’m just taking every game as it comes.”17 likes

On the 17th March 1877 Rangers played our first ever Scottish Cup Final against Vale of Leven at Hamilton Crescent in Partick, the match ended 1-1. A replay was also played at the cricket ground which also finished 1-1, that game went into extra time and was abandoned amid controversial circumstances. Vale eventually won the Scottish Cup at First Hampden 3-2. This was a Rangers team of youngsters going toe to toe with the mighty Vale. It was this series of games that saw the transformation of the Rangers from what was essentially a boys club, born on Fleshers Haugh only fi15 likes

https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/3446709/Rangers-ibrox-upgrades-mark-allen/ MARK ALLEN has lifted the lid on plans to redevelop Ibrox and create an elite environment at Rangers. Gers have forked out significant funds on stadium improvements and repairs since Dave King replaced the old regime three years ago. Work is also expected to begin on a new youth complex at the club’s Auchenhowie training ground later this month. And now director of football Allen has spilled the beans on Ibrox refurb proposals which will help Steven Gerrard’s side gear up for future h11 likes -

I went on a stadium tour at ManUtd years ago and though it was a fine stadium it missed the heritage and history we have it was that modern . The wooden panelling that came from building the Queen Mary , the big hooks that were made for Bowler Hats of the time , the manager's office where so many famous players have signed on the dotted line . . . . . . .you couldn't buy any of that .9 likes

No they aren't - AFAIK the majority of posts I have read on here have people saying we should be playing Katic instead as he's our own player and showed at the start of the season he is a talent. We just aren't offended by a loan player saying he wants to go back to his parent club the following season...7 likes

Not bothered one bit by the article. I’m pissed off at us dropping one of our best early season performers, our own player, to develop another teams players. You can’t even argue he brings anything extra to the team over Katic. It doesn’t make sense to me at all.5 likes -

Exactly. Like you I’ve done the tours of big stadiums, the Bernabeu and the Nou Camp, impressive certainly but they’re a bit showbiz and commercialised. They don’t have the feel of Ibrox, that essence of a history and tradition that are completely genuine. I’ve been lucky enough to have been in hospitality and wandered along the corridor to the Trophy Room, seeing all the mementos and reminders from the days when my granda watched Alan Morton and my dad watched Willie Waddell, it got me quite emotional and it wasn’t just the drink. There’s just something about our home that’s unique.4 likes -

That league structure, or similar, is inevitable now. It's about making money for various parties. Nothing else. It's about making money for owners, TV companies and no doubt some in the know officials that'll be involved in facilitating it under the table. Competitiveness, sporting value, heritage, local attachment, fans and history don't matter. How the other clubs and leagues left over end up looking is hard to say. Will it be like the NHL with minor leagues below? Probably something like it. I think the national leagues will still keep a local importance and be valued in their own ri4 likes

Listen I trust the manager, but my fondness for him won’t cloud what he does as Rangers manager wether it’s his lineup, subs or recruitment I disagree with means nothing other than as a Rangers fan I disagree with his judgment, my job isn’t on the line with my opinion, his job is on the line based on his decisions but so clearly his decision is the only one that matters nobody else’s, especially mine.4 likes -

Add him to El Hadji Diouf and Vlad Weiss who won the Scottish Premiership under Walter whilst on loan. Take it Walter was another just settling for second best at Rangers. These pesky new agers. Steve Davis helped us to a UEFA final while on loan with us too. I guess that's just another example of settling for second best. Then there's Andy Dibble.3 likes

Yeah, he hit the ground running when he arrived and really impressed but after picking up an injury he's not hit the same levels since returning. An injury - even a minor one - so early after joining a new club can be a bit of a confidence blow for a young player living in a foreign country with a new language etc for the first time. Given time to find his feet again, he'll come good. I'm sure Gerrard also said in one of his early interviews he wanted to get some consistency between his CB pairing which would leave me to assume that unless he has a reason to drop Worral/Goldson then Katic will3 likes -

The difference is that Matic was very respectful in his explanation and insulted no one with the personal choice he made. It wasn't done to offend but a personal decision. The difference in tone of the statements is marked. In his statement, Matic said: "I recognise fully why people wear poppies, I totally respect everyone's right to do so and I have total sympathy for anyone who has lost loved ones due to conflict. "However, for me it is only a reminder of an attack that I felt personally as a young, frightened 12-year old boy living in Vrelo, as my country was devastated by the bo3 likes

Its really strange the silence from the scottish based reporters with regards to both the morelos and candieas incidents. Its almost like they simply seem unable toshow us as the victims of anything. We have to be the perpetrators and shown as the problem. Of course when something happens that goes against that narrative, they are struck dumb and have no idea how to approach it. They simply dont know what to say - so say nothing. And this is not confined to football people either. SNP member after SNP member is lining up to take pot shots at us. This is the reason why we should neve3 likes -

As far away from the UK as possible, Outer Mongolia wouldn't be far enough. Unfortunately there are enough who don't care (or, positively, welcome fenians) that he'll infest our shores and continue taking the Queens currency until his career ends (hopefully painfully).2 likes
