  1. If i was stuck on a desert island with Sutton, Stewart, Craigan and a tin of Corned beef - i’d eat Sutton, Craigan and Stewart and have a conversation with the Corned Beef.

  2. As soon as it’s confirmed there will be a virtue signalling, sanctimonious statement released I’ll bet. I’ll put money on fake humble gratitude acknowledging the poor souls who are sick /dead how they truly didn’t want the title to have to be ‘won’ in these terrible circumstances hope for a brighter future all pulling together and of course ‘the greatest fans in the world’

  3. We have just lived through one of the most blatantly corrupt votes in sporting history. Corrupt to the point that when the final vote was cast and it was not going the way of those who organised the vote they then, in full public view, set that vote aside, had a quiet word, and then allowed it to be resubmitted with the "right" answer several days after the vote was meant to close. Yet we are being castigated for asking for an independent inquiry into things. The chances of scum not being given the title are zero. Hearts are going to be relegated and simply must take legal action (FOH will fund it). Broadcasters may seek to recover monies. The litany of disasters is quite breathtaking and all down to one club.

  4. Any court action stops them being crowned anything. The only thing we have agreed to is that the league is finished. Never once have we said anything about champions or relegations, and if Doncaster wants to go down that route then he is out of a job as the season might not even start next season and Scottish clubs will not be able to enter Europe. Call the SPFL's bluff, rememeber they have that new sky deal they won't want us to fuck it up. This board told us they knew who our enemy's where and would strike when the time is right. Well this bear could not find a better time than now, bring the whole fucking thing to a halt and let's see the SPFL's next move.

  6. I can't grasp how people think null and void means TV companies demand a refund. The previous 29/30 gameweeks were still broadcast and Sky etc are certainly not refunding customers for 7 months of subscriptions of games people paid and watched since August. Null and void is no different than ending the season right now, broadcasters lose the remaining matches not completed, not the 30 games previously.

  8. I'm hoping that we are holding fire until they have played all their cards mate ...... then all things willing we have them at a disadvantage ..... with all access to any further ammunition cut off. I also think the board are playing down any means that can be construed as sour grapes .... or any calls that it was always an Us versus them scenario .... that the gifting of this title would definitely throw up for the tarrier media to pounce on .... and decry the value of any higher ground we have already gained thus far. I am hoping I am correct ... and I also want to give the benefit of the doubt to the board on this occasion .... who have behaved correctly all through this tinkers' circus .... created by an unscrupulous tarrier dominated executive within the SPFL. I think we are still very much in the game .... and I will hang fire on any knee jerk reaction that the inevitable ..... we all knew it was coming .... gifting of this undeserved tainted ghost title will undoubtably cause. Anger is understandable ..... we are all in agreement with that strong emotion ..... but it must be directed to the right target ..... right now that is not the Board of The Rangers who deserve to be trusted for a fair distance yet ..... as the game is not over until all cards have been dealt and called. Only then will we be able to judge the situation with any accuracy as to the approach we took in all this mess .... and hopefully the Board surprise us .... as we all know this has been a massive stitch up for the benefit of one club only. 🇬🇧

  9. So the Dutch FA have won in a court of law to declare the season over, no champions, relegations or promotions. Surely UEFA must take a stand and treat every league that ends the same as every other one. If they can’t take charge then what is the point of them? There has to be a universal fair decision taken or football becomes a farce.

  11. Martin Keown has slammed the SPFL as a 'farce' and accused them of forcing clubs into ending the season by placing unfair financial worries on them. The Arsenal legend - who has kept a close eye on Scottish football in recent years with son Niall playing for Partick Thistle and St Johnstone - reckons the governing body made a decision far too quickly. It comes as Scottish Premiership clubs are set to hold an emergency summit with league chief Neil Doncaster later on Friday to end the campaign and declare celtic as champions. That will also see Hearts relegated to the Championship and the haste associated with events doesn't sit right with the outspoken pundit. He also believes that the English Premier League will be watching closely and looking at the fallout expected to come with Hearts threatening legal action. It's a similar story in England with Aston Villa, Norwich and Bournemouth currently in the bottom three, with Villa having a game in hand. And Keown told talkSPORT: "This has been a bit of a farce in Scotland. "They tried to make that decision too quickly, almost holding a gun to the club’s heads with the financial rewards if they were to make a quick decision. "Finances will have a big say on what happens up in Scotland and obviously that’s going to come down south as well. "We’re all anxious to see what the Scottish game does, does it take a lead, does it continue? "We’ll have to wait and see, that’s a massive decision they’ll have to make." Outsiders are noticing.

  12. The only implications are in contractual terms or in European qualification. The broadcasters have paid for more games than they’ve actually had so far so, technically, we owe them a rebate. Given the reason is a worldwide pandemic killing hundreds of thousands, it would not be good PR to sue the SPFL even if legally entitled. However, the key point is that we have not delivered our full number of games for them to broadcast. The reason is immaterial, despite what Doncaster and Liewell would have you believe. European qualification is a mess. UEFA have sent out so many mixed messages that it’s hard to keep up. As it stands, an incomplete season (like the Dutch have done) is no impediment to qualification so we could easily follow suit. Had Rangers been top, we all know that’s what would have happened. The lie that “Incomplete” (or the dreaded “Null And Void”) was a complete disaster and the nightmare scenario was put out early by both men, it was unchallenged and it has now become accepted as fact, even though there is no truth in it at all. Once again, the lack of integrity in our press and media has failed us.

  13. Which would be the second time they died seeing as they liquidated in the early 1900's but curiously still claim honours won previously. Rather like the second Hibs who appeared after the first Hibs vanished for over a year. It's strange how this "newco" law only appears to apply to one club. Even more strange than the amount of Hearts and Hibs fans who know everything about Rangers but next to nothing about their own clubs history.

  14. Scott Brown made his name when we were in the doldrums. Before 2012 he was a no-mark and even in past two seasons you’ve barely noticed him playing. A complete irrelevance.

  15. The SPFL are duty bound to act in the best interests of ALL 42 member clubs. The only way to do that is treat everyone the same. Standingings final with no teams benefitting and no teams punished. The SPFL are failing on their duties by acting for the benefit of a few clubs and to the detriment of others. Hopefully see you cunts in court you cheating fenian bastards.

  16. Not sure what your point is now. None of that's happening because they're all trying to find ways to finish their leagues. Money? Maybe. But there's no rush to finish and anoint winners. And I've yet to see anyone seriously test the N&V route...because they're all trying to find ways to finish. I'm not advocating N&V though, never have...just our governing body refuse to consider it on spurious claims that have never been quantified. And especially since most of scottish clubs revenue is through the gate, not through sponsorship and tv. France has given up and done what the spfl is trying....they're facing legal challenges. Belgium tried similar, may have to possibly reverse the decision. Holland called theirs, no champions, relegations etc, but places will stand for europe etc. Even they're now nervous that they may be premature. In Scotland, there's a rush for coronations and relegations. No other options are being allowed to be considered.

  17. People really need to stop buying into this nonsensical rhetoric. It's being pushed by the SPFL and the cabal without foundation or evidence of any kind being presented. It's just typical of the cellick-minded. Doesn't matter what the truth is, they just keep saying the same things over and over again, everyone ends up believing the story and the truth is forgotten. Surely we've learned that by now?

  19. That’s nonsense Kirk, when they are declared champions then it’s nine in a row. The media will report it as nine, the history books will have it as nine, they will have big nine in a row banners covering their midden of a stadium, Fenians will be jumping about in nine in a row merch rubbing it in our faces every chance they get. Only people not accepting it will be Rangers fans nobody else will give two fucks and when next season kicks of it will be here we go 10 in a row belted out in every stadium they enter. Fenian peado bastards.

  20. Lets not forget the haste to conclude this season's league for reasons known only to the spfl. Whilst the intention is to extend the completion of the scottish cup even if it takes until 2021. Explain that one away.

  21. Keep reading we were off form and ref decisions cost us valuable points. Both very valid. But the reality and only argument to put out there is this title could still be won and it is undecided. You simply cannot hand out a trophy that hasn’t been won unless the rules stipulated at the beginning of the competition state that it can. You can’t change/bend/make up rules as you go along. Sporting Integrity was used against us so the very people to use it most should be forced to use it now.

  23. There are dozens of reasons why they went into full blown panic mode to avoid an II They have LIED to just about everyone, UEFA included At some point all of this will be aired in public and heads will roll, but they will have achieved there objective and the shame for that will rest with all of the clubs who lacked the simple moral fortitude to do the right thing

  24. That is one of the most incredible things that has been proposed in this clusterfuck so far IMO, and no one in the press/media seemed to bat an eyelid. It would be another season we were playing in ffs. Worth remembering this was the SFA who came up with this plan, I am sure they would have put it forward IF we were still in the semi-final and the tarriers were out, aye right.

  29. Don't know why people keep saying this. It's the exact opposite. Rangers fans will be the only ones not recognising it, and as always, we'll be the guys painted with the blackest of brushes as a result.

  30. Null n void isn't what we should be demanding. The best way to keep sporting integrity is to go down the dutch route, call the league positions as they are so they aren't voided and clubs in them positions after that many games deserve to be there obviously. No need to scrub the entire season from the record books. Clubs don't get paid out the whole pot, just the % earned up until that point, rest of the pot goes back to the sponsors and tv. They've still been given matches that count with advertisements etc up until that point but clubs should not be paid out for a full season that never got completed. The teams finishing 1st should be awarded 1st place but not called champions and/or promoted. The teams finishing bottom should be called bottom but not relegated. All teams stay where they are next season which is equally fair to all.

Stevie builds that team around him and get them all clicking, no cunt is getting near us. This lad will go all the way to the top in the game and will return ten fold to us.

  34. I actually think certain parties likely sat down and said how the fuck do we make it possible to give paedo fc the chance to win the treble this incompletable season. And thought it's so not possible that we're as well just going full on mental and absurd and trying to blag their way through it. And even though it got even worse with the Dundee vote shambles, theyve pulled it off as clubs were either desperate for cash, back the tarriers, or dont care as long as it's not to our benefit. Scottish football will never recover from this.

  37. Without a doubt you are correct Jinty, some will celebrate it even more because they think it is annoying us Rangers fans, which if I am honest it is. If you can live with your club having so many child abusers for so many years, being handed a title will be easy. Horrible club and fans. PS is it just me or does anyone else read the title as 'The SPFL (in)continence thread' ?? probably just me

  38. Today's Daily mail, English edition , their chief sports writer's banner. I don't always agree with him btw., But I do here. Some of what he says, "Why PPG argument is fatally flawed" " A method of calculation so spectacularly shallow it does not take into account recent form, opposition, location, or any of the large number of external influences that contribute to a result" Gary " Neville, the apparent expert on everything, backtracking on a confidently asserted opinion made as recently as May 9. Three days later, asked about the issue again, he said " I don't believe relegation is fair on the PPG basis. I think if football is to be played, you have promotion and relegation, but to be relegated with 9 games to go, with so much at stake, it doesn't feel right to me, it feels unfair." " " Norwich, six points adrift of safety, have maintained public silence on the relegation issues ...... The club's executive probably thought that anything they said would be rebuffed as naked self interest and they would be right". " Worse would be for Norwich to be denied the chance of salvation across nine games, only to be replaced by a team who did not equal their achievements in reaching the Premier League across a 46 game season. ..... Leeds may top the Championship, but what can we guarantee ? not a lot, really . When the season was suspended they were on a great run of five straight wins. Yet before that, between December 14 and February 11, they won two league matches in 11. Leeds PPG value over the entire campaign is 1.92 - but during that two month blip, it was 0.90. So who is to say with certainty what Leeds would achieve in this final run ". " So why should Leeds be blithely handed 1.92 average " ( in the games outstanding). ________________ Contrast that, with keech and co. Totally different in every aspect of journalism. This is one of the reasons why I stay down here. Plus it's sunnier and warmer.

  40. Where have you been? There has only been one agenda at play the entire time - to award celtic a title. You know that. They would rather pay back 10m than not declare a champion. The rest is semantics, played out in the media to brainwash the followers. All of their reasons are lies including n&v. n&v is feasible and the route the vast majority of leagues will eventually take should football not be possible. Trying to compare the Scottish league to England's course of action which is the most lucrative league on the planet is an argument that has no basis due to the extent of money. There is no integrity in awarding a title winner or relegation when 25% of games haven't been played. None whatsoever!

  41. Spot on you simply cannot null and void a live broadcast of a football match that has already happened. They received their viewing figures, their sponsorship/advertising revenue. If Sky tried to claw money back for something they already showed they would be liable to return all the money they received themselves. That is a road they simply won’t go down 👍

  46. The best precedent was surely the Scottish Rugby Association's . Traditionally an association where sporting integrity and openness is paramount, they quickly concluded that from the 5 options possible, only 2 were viable. Around 1/2 the clubs chose null and "void" whilst around 1/4 chose the positions at the time option. It is also believed that there were no bullying tactics, impassioned speeches, or mysterious votes which were cast, got lost, then arrived late and had been changed. Respect to the Scottish Rugby Authorities for realising the importance of making a quick decision and then completing it in a fair and prompt fashion.

  47. Apparently for legal challenges to be made : 1. Title has to be awarded. 2. Our club to receive final SPFL payment. 3. Hearts officially relegated. This is from a thread on ff about the vote to finish league early and the opinion of Senior and Junior Counsel on whether the result of the vote would stand up in court if challenged. So will legal challenges be made? Oh fuck a do hope so.

  48. Maybe, that's what's unclear. But they sure as fuck got the same tv coverage and publicity from 29 of our games ending it by n&v that they do from ending it PPG. The wording of the league conclusion differs, what they've got out of the season doesnt. Have these sponsors and broadcasters been consulted, do they see differences in what they can recover based on the two identical no of games completed in an incomplete season, but where their action differs based on how the spfl conclude it? Who knows, seen nothing from any sponsor or broadcaster. I think the fact no one pursues it is because its been taken off the table, and we dont want to be seen to demand it as the whole issue becomes a them v us one. Doesnt mean it's more or less viable than what we ended up with.
