  1. Losing the ten was crushing mate. It was the end of an era figuratively and literally. We were untouchable. Then it collapsed and I watched many of my heroes depart with their heads down. Many fans and players never got over it and for me, the best way to put that right is by inflicting the exact same pain on them by stopping the tainted ten. And in many ways, it would be a much bigger blow as they had the goalposts moved for them and everything went in their favour in their once Rosie garden. The other key factor about them going for ten is it may be the last time in many of our lifetimes that one of the old firm will have this opportunity. I can't see any team capitulating or going through what we went through which is the only reason they have this opportunity. I have never felt so much pressure watching a Rangers game in my life as each game this season. This means everything to me and I am desperate to see us succeed more than any season in recent memory.

  2. Just like earlier on in the season where loads of people said we'd see where we were after we went to Easter Road and Fir Park, now it's their turn after having already dropped points at Pittodrie. All well and good saying he's lost the dressing room and the tide has turned, and so far we do look like a different animal, but there's still a lot of football to be played between now and the business end of the season, Sunday is a massive game for us and a chance to go 9 clear with having played 2 more than them. If they fuck up so be it, but we need to capitalise on it and just keep plodding away.

  3. Disgraceful. But expected. All of it. The elbow, the player, the SFA, the compliance.

  5. Looked through their accounts, albeit they are just a summary not full accounts yet. Bit wild. Total deviation from their strategy given Covid/no CL/no sales. Completely all in on this season & they’ll need to catch up next summer. Edouard & Ajer both 12 months on their contracts as well which is unusual for them to allow to happen. Wonder what impact on fees that’ll have. Same as us in 97/98, their obsession with ‘10’ has led to a pretty big gamble given the size of turnover required next season, big opportunity for us to flip the current dynamic especially with the likely automatic CL spot for next seasons winners.

  6. Can’t believe he highlighted the fact Duffy was called “rank rotten”by the media. Well if Duffy hadn’t heard it before he’s heard it now thanks to the lemon. Should do his confidence the world of good.

  8. The poll on here showed most would continue. Hopefully those who can, will. I get the impression our fan base are going above and beyond doing our bit to help get 55. The scum are complacent and I doubt renewed in the same numbers whilst taking more in refunds. If we stop 10, we'll all deserve great credit.

  9. 9 years ago Rangers U12's met Wolves. It is interesting to note that 5 players are still at the club. Of the others two are at a decent level. Jordan Houston at Ayr United and Carlo Pignatiello at Livingston. Cammy Kerr was a highly rated tennis player and gave up football to concentrate on tennis. Dylan Paterson was an incredible talent but possibly the smallest player I have seen coming through the age groups. Just found out he was recently playing for Bo'ness United https://rfcyouths.wordpress.com/2011/10/26/wolves-visit-murray-park/

  10. Easy get out ,pretty sure that the CO looks at it and asks 3 anonymous ex refs their opinion . Strange that these decisions are one sided as fuck . The one he got away with on Naismith a couple of years ago ,Reason being Naismith gave him a dull one later on the game ,Cancelled out If this cunt was treated correctly he would have a far worse reputation than Morelos .

  11. Nice to see people not getting ahead of themselves. No wonder people get worked up when we eventually drop points. One game at a time, things can change extremely quickly and we don't need to look that far back to see that.

  15. I canny buy into that. Whether we know the truth or not, the history books will still show 10 IAR and we won't hear the end of it. The fact that it means so much to them should mean so much to us to stop it. This for me is the most important title we will ever play for, up there with our 9iar.

  19. Wonder if he was asked about the criticism or if he should be sacked? From that it looks like he was asked about his thoughts on the criticism of him and his team and hes replied that he shouldn't be sacked. Which would be a very extreme reply and the sounds of a guy mentally struggling. A few more results against him and I can see Lawwell pulling the trigger. Either way i can't see it affecting our season as they can't afford the elite manager they clearly need.

  23. If we win the league this season and get the CL spot they’ll be struggling like fuck. I don’t think they’ll ever go into administration etc, too many people in government will be ready to bail them out but seeing them struggle and players jumping ship will be good

  25. https://www.scottishfa.co.uk/news/scottish-cup-202021-format-confirmed/ Scottish FA: absolutely no replays in the Scottish Cup this year. We need to reduce the number of games/travel where we can. Also Scottish FA: We simply must complete the 2019/20 Scottish Cup campaign. Anywho. Let's not get bogged down with popery or politics. Our campaign starts: ROUND THREE – Saturday 30 January 2021

  26. There’s a difference between CEOs/board members and those that have put somewhere in the region of £60m+ into the club to help rebuild it. Dave King got a lot wrong during his time but without question his desire & leadership to do the right thing back in 2015 saved the club, even if, again, he didn’t go about it in the right way at the time. If him & those he brought to the table hadn’t persevered fuck knows where we would be now

  28. Great Post mate 👍 I was 10 years old when our 10iar ended. It was devastating as I grew up in an era in which i didn't know anything but rangers winning. However we got our payback and then some the season after by winning the title at the chamber of horrors. Winning 55 this season might very well be the sweetest title we've ever lifted. After everything we've went through since 2012. It would be the ultimate revenge against them who lead the charge and tried to finish us. Just imagine our celebrations and the utter meltdown they would be going through. This current sqaud would get to go down in legend if they can pull it off.

  30. The scum have assets, the problem for them is Ajer, Edouard, Ntcham and Christie all have contracts ending May 2022. So come next summer all will have one year remaining and their value depreciates. McGregor is the only one with a long term contract.

  32. They definitely thought we were done for or would never be able to recover to challenge. Watching the bastards gloat about how well they are run as well. Lawell and co have gone all in on the tainted 10 likely knowing they would need to dramatically cut costs afterwards. If we can do 55 this year. The tide could really turn.

  36. I often wonder what is must be like to be in a young bears bubble .Not having your favourite club win a major trophy in nearly 10 years .When I grew up with trebles ,Doubles and cup finals every other few months And regular thrashings of our enemies .And not having all of this being acceptable. Just amazes me how meh, it all is for them .

  38. The 1st match i went to on my own. Had been to a couple of matches on the supporters bus with my brother and uncle, who said i wasn't allowed to any match against them. Was 12 and was supposed to pay the rent,but!!!....dogged the school and got the train to Glasgow without a care in the world and not actually knowing what, how or where i was going. The secret was to follow The People wearing Rangers hats and scarves. Was scary trying to find my way home. But here we are 57 years later and the fire within is as deep now as it was then.

  40. celtic manager Neil Lennon says there is "no justification" for his job to be under threat as he railed against the "hysteria" over his team's form. Sunday's draw at Aberdeen left celtic - chasing a record 10th consecutive title - winless in three matches and six points behind Scottish Premiership leaders Rangers with a game in hand. Lennon says the majority of fans still back him as he blamed a media agenda. "There's a clear lack of respect because of one bad week," he said. celtic announce £13m revenue drop Lennon 'still the man for 10' - Dalglish 'Defining week for fragile celtic' "We've lost one game in the league and pundits are talking about me being two games away from the sack. Players getting singled out, abused, criticised, it's absolutely shocking. "It's media driven, there's no question of that. I have seen two newspapers run polls on whether I should get sacked or not. I have never seen it before in 20 years I have been here. "There's no justification for me to be sacked. None whatsoever. If things start to deteriorate rapidly, I'll hold my hands up and say, 'this isn't working, we need to look at something else'. But at the moment we're nowhere near that." Lennon, preparing for his team for a Europe League visit to Lille on Thursday and Sunday's Scottish Cup semi-final against Hampden, also launched a passionate defence of on-loan Brighton centre-back Shane Duffy. The Republic of Ireland international has come in for criticism recently and was culpable at Aberdeen's second goal on Sunday. "He's just had a bumpy week, nothing more, nothing less," the celtic boss added. "I'm not happy about the treatment he's getting from certain quarters of the media. It's totally unbalanced, unfair and hysterical. "Comments that he's rank rotten, bombscare, I find that ridiculous. He's a human being, he made a mistake and shouldn't be hung out to dry for it. He has my full support and I'm not going to leave him out." Failure to win in France against Ligue 1 joint leaders Lille would be celtic's longest run without victory in six years. But Lennon insists he does not feel under "major pressure" as he called for patience from the support. "They can't all be constantly criticising the team, the manager. It's not productive," he said. "We should be enjoying this season but nobody seems to be enjoying it. Our players have earned the right to go for 10 and should be respected and supported for that. But very quickly people are turning on them and me. That's unfair." Sounds like he is unravelling tbh

  41. I like the look of Itten. He’s come through the Basel academy, which is a top producer of players, and he’s scored goals in a reasonable league for an unfashionable side. The goal he scored in his cameo a couple of weeks back shows he has a good nose and great technique. He needs minutes from starts though.

  45. Want another laugh They spent 80.5mill running that club until june, their players, management and board took a pay deferral for 3 months up until june, and also the furlough scheme was used for their employees for the 80% of the wage So in reality their expenses will likely be near 90mill 😂😂😂
