  2. I really rate Patterson but that's a ridiculous claim to make after the season Tav has just had

  3. Hello, sorry for not posting as much been really busy at work the last 6 days and not had much time to do anything. Once again a big massive thnx to everyone. On a brighter note this happened last night and toni managed to walk the length of the front garden and back, hoping this is the start of her being able to ditch the wheelchair although that may be still a while off

  4. The worst thing about Celtic is they actually enabled child abuse. They brought back nonces once they had found out what they were and allowed them to continue defiling children. This separates them from clubs who had a beast unknowingly working away in the background. I don't know enough of the details behind Man City to know if they were as bad. Celtic have been the second worst organisation behind the Catholic church I have ever heard of in this regards. Enabling these creeps puts you on the same level as them. NDAs and coverups after the fact are also horrible, but nowhere near as bad as actually knowingly allowing children to be raped. For this reason, I would happily see Celtic burned to the ground.

  10. Imagine being any striker at the club, not just a young one, but even guys like itten and roofe, and they can go to someone like jermaine defoe and ask advice about their performances, especially in and around the box How fucking good would that be

  11. Captaining Rangers to 55 and our first league in a decade is legend material. Don’t give a fuck what anyone says.

  12. Wonderful news. A model professional and his reaction after scoring against the filth showed how much it meant to him. He loves Rangers and I'm sure he has some more goals to add to the experience and wisdom he will pass on in his new coaching role.

  15. They can't. Acknowledging them is an acceptable start however and that shower won't even do that.

  16. Quite. Unfortunately paedophiles are in every walk of life, and they ingratiate themselves into organisations unknown to the people around them - that can't be fully eradicated as a risk. What is the issue is how organisations deal with the problem once they become aware of it. The people in power at Celtic FC at the time - as with the RC Church as you mention - chose to protect the 'good name' of their organisation above all else, which meant cover-ups, moving people around, and even bringing them back - in other words, actively deciding that protecting 'Celtic' or the 'Church' was more important than actually protecting children. Celtic's crime wasn't that they had active paedophiles in their organisation - although questions have to be asked about why they were able to congregate and act so freely within their organisation - but it was that they covered it up and protected those paedophiles for the sake of their own fucking brand image, ensuring that the victims couldn't get justice in the process. Scum football club then for enabling them and now for trying to run away from it and ensuring victims don't get justice.

  17. Most of the fans making these kind of remarks won't be Rangers fans . Interestingly along the same lines , I read this on FF earlier by the Midfield General ( take a bow ) - ' I contacted the Sunday Mail to complain about Keevins column where he stated that Paramedics were abused in George Square by Rangers fans because of the Colour of their uniform. This was based on a phone call to Radio Clyde by "Darren"who claimed to be a paramedic and a Partick Thistle supporter. He stated he was spat at and sworn at and sectarian language was directed at him also his assistant was so traumatised she could not make her shift the next day. Scottish Ambulance have confirmed that no one on duty that day had reported any such incidents, confirming my belief that this never happened. In Hugh Keevins column today he acknowledges this and confirms that it is "inaccurate" It's not quite the retraction and apology to the Club and fans I was after but at least they have acknowledged in print that this story is as they say "inaccurate" The point of all this is our Club and fans have suffered years of lies and abuse and we should challenge this any time we see, read or hear anything that is blatantly wrong. 18. Just watching where this post is going. The only connection the beasts have with Man City is with paedophiles, and sleekit petes son who works for Man City. That is where it ends. City said sorry and put up a large pot of money for the victims of bennell (who might have been involved with cbc which was formed in 1966 by a nonce who was ushered off the premises when it was being highlighted, and was brought back when they thought the coast was clear,to carry on with the same despicable MO which he will always have then now and forever) This certain club have tried to distance themselves from the life long shame of depravity carried out by at least 14 named, not necessarily charged to date, and some of the victims who are no longer here, have family still looking for an apology and in the process are being abused at home and online. That is the link.

  23. One of my pet hates when people quote that stuff like it means anything. Football is a boys club and it’s very rare that anybody within it publicly criticizes anyone else. And what other managers supposed to say when they’re asked the question “actually he’s a bit of a dick and I think he’ll be a disaster at celtic”.

  25. Amazes me that some people think a boy who isn't even finished physically developing yet and has a whole 16 first team appearances under his belt can come in and replace our clubs captain, one of our best players and play 60 games a season and have any where near the impact and bring what Tav brings to our play. Borderline disrespectful to Tav tbh.

  27. Tav was hugely missed against Slavia, to say otherwise is laughable, but we had a confidence about us domestically that we could afford to miss him for a few weeks. Had that been earlier in the season it may have been different. Patterson is a huge talent but if we were to lose Tav for a long period of time that would be noticeable. His numbers and creativity is vital to us, same as Barisic.

  29. Jim's post is genuinely the weirdest comment I've read on here, No competition even tho the mickey bastards have out spent us and every other team for going on 12/13 year

  30. Anfield was originally Everton's ground. There was a rent dispute with the owner so Everton moved to Goodison Park and John Houlding who owned the ground formed Liverpool to play there. We've played Everton three times at Anfield in 1887, 1890 and 1892. We've played Liverpool (I think) three times at Anfield. Twice in 1899 and once in 1924.

  32. So if we had ended up with 24 points less than we did would it have been a more well earned victory as it was closer?

  36. That's such bullshit mate. You're buying into tarrier propaganda. Next you'll be telling me we won it cause there were no fans. We won the title by March cause we were superb.and no other reason.

  37. I’m excited about Patterson and it gives us something of a rotation option but anyone talking about wanting to sell Tav needs a lie down

  38. Who wants a “special relationship” with city, they’d be drifting along as a lower mid table (at best) premier league team if the desert despots hadn’t bought them to make it seem like they were decent people. Guardiola is a little creep as well, wears his yellow ribbon for Catalonia like he’s all about the humanity, meanwhile his employers sponsor all sorts of skullduggery in the Middle East and use slave labour to build their sky scrapers and stadia.

  39. Don’t change the system. Its just romped us the league, with Tav winning player of the season with it. You can give Patterson more opportunities now we know he can be trusted, and rest Tav when needed. It is then up to Patterson to push Tav out the side. If he’s good enough it’ll happen.

  41. Cant wait to see his centres backs splitting between the keeper before trying to play it out from the back in triangles between them on a bumpy surface against Dundee in horizontal rain and a force eight gale in November.
