This has gone since at least when Gerrard was here, replace Lundstram with Steven Davis. Maybe Tav, Goldson and Barisic just got comfortable playing that way. The one defender, Souttar, who has shown an appetite for carrying the ball up the field, has been co-opted into the game of ring around the rosy that Tav, Goldson, Barisic and Lundstram have been running for years. Bassey was the one player who would say fuck it I’m charging, and we damn near won a European trophy with the guy.

There are any number of bottlers out there but Lundstram stands out in that he genuinely looks like he doesn’t give a shit.

At one point the TV commentator remarked it was disappointing that Rangers had a corner kick and wound up playing it back to Butland. That is the team in a nutshell. The back four, Lundstram and Butland need to stop fucking around with the ball. It’s a been a problem for years.

I get age and mileage on the player, I can understand he’s lost a step and a little quality. But this is two massive games in a row where the captain has not been ready to play when the first whistle sounded. Ross County should have been ahead in the first minute same as septic.

In injury time he lost the ball twice when we were going for the winner. He is also somewhat at fault for the third goal. To be fair he may have been playing concussed.
