He’s absolute dug meat.
Offered nothing going forward, and while he might cover a bit of ground pressing, it’s that weird pretend pressing where he doesn’t get near the ball.
Was absolutely rotten last night. No idea how he lasted so long.
Seen a few ‘does a job tactically’ or ‘does a job for the team’. Would love that explained to me as he always looks pish in and out of possession. 

Sam Lammers is really good out of possession and his positional sense is excellent, which is probably why Clement is persisting with him in that role - it’s a manager’s dream having a player who knows where to be on the pitch at any given time. It’s massively limiting our attacking output though and taking away from Cantwell being more influential in his natural position. 
That won’t translate well to people watching at home on TV btw, where Lammers will just come across as shite because the rare times you see him will be when he’s placing a pass 3 yards behind a player on the run or just generally losing possession doing something weird. 

Absolutely delighted they got gubbed last night. The more thrashings they get the better and hopefully have them papped out of Europe altogether. Their misery is welcomed. 
 
However. 
 
I really struggle to take as much enjoyment from their anguish as long as we continue to lag behind them domestically. Certainly some mirth and merriment at their failure but not yet ready to full on gloat until we are above them In The league and increasing the gap in domestic trophies won again. I am really hopefully that PC will make that happen.

It gives me great sadness to announce the passing of one of our own, Ben (@ben51 / @GabrielTomato / @Clemdog) yesterday. 
As you may have been aware from his posts on it on this board, Ben has been battling his demons for a period of time and sadly yesterday he succumbed to them. 
We are devastated to lose Ben. He was a funny, caring and intelligent young man who has been lost to the world far too soon. I know many people on this board knew Ben in person and will be very upset by this. 
Please hold your nearest and dearest close to you. Please reach out if you are struggling and please also ask people in your circle if they are struggling. Use the Mind Matters section as openly as you want to - something that Ben was a huge advocate of.

Will be interesting. I wonder if he has a gauge of the fans feelings on this. Think he's nothing to lose by changing it up and would get a positive response. I'm not a tav hater but the over reliance on certain players we've had for years just has to stop.

Hopefully he will be the man to finally clear out the old guard of Tav, Jack etc.  His lack of ties to the club will show them for what they are.

Not saying "just anyone" and there's far more than just one issue, but at this stage feels that anyone that's willing to break up the old tavernier, goldson etc formula would at least indicate they're willing to try something different and show some ruthlessness. If we got someone new but that was kept the same yet again would be a worry.

There's more wrong in the club than just the manager. We need to look at why we suffer so many injuries, last season we were in a similar situation to what we have now. What's happening between games, why does almost every strain or sprain equal 6 to 8 weeks unavailable. Is the fitness regime to heavy or not enough. I have never been a fan of Beales but if Cantwell, Raskin and Danilo were available we don't lose today. Last season was similar for Gio. If he goes the board need to spend money on an experienced manager no more experiments.

We're not suffering from injuries, we have a full squad, all his signings bar Butland have been a disaster.
He pursued these guys, fought for them and they are, like his tactics, all shite!!!

Indeed. Out of fucking nowhere. From an enforced substitution of a player who came out of nowhere earlier in season but suddenly playing on a different side to accomodate Scott Wright out of nowhere. 

Can't really blame him. The players haven't been properly drilled to play this way and we've randomly adopted this formation midway through a game against Motherwell rather than swap an attacker for an attacker. 

Was a bit unsure with this one at 1st. Did think he should have read the room and apologised but thought he'd maybe got caught up in the emotion and maybe just wasn't thinking things through in the moment. Then I seen him trying to explain it away and was reminded of Kudela trying to lie his way out of the Kamara abuse. Just so obviously bullshit and instant confirmation of guilt. 

Absolutely zero excuse to not win this trophy now. Beale has to get this one under his belt.
