The last Columbia game was 7th July, come on FFS. He was almost back in time, so why not just come a few days earlier? Its not like he played a huge amount. Anyway, we are out and Itten was the main striker in the first leg.

We can't spend with no sales forever. I'd be having serious talks with Goldson for a start. Here's the contract, sign or transfer list. One or two of Aribo, Kamara, Hagi, Barisic, Goldson, Kent go to be sold if we are going to invest.

Tav and Barisic are the biggest cowards in the team. Too happy to pass it backwards and give someone else the responsibility. Tav is never a Rangers captain, did he once look like firing the team up tonight? No, too busy hitting the first man with every cross.

Too many players not good enough for this level and we didnt gamble in the transfer market. As fans we get too carried away with 'prospects' like Wright. He has plenty of potential but look at his numbers, we shouldn't be relying on the boy. Arfield has lost his legs and never had a huge amount of ability to begin with.
Tav is great when things are going well. Played terrible again and couldn't beat the first man. Now is the time for Patterson to get his chance.

Cowards. Imagine our creative players leaving it to Goldson to cross the ball. Ridiculous.
Helander should hand in a transfer request if he's not considered to be good enough for THAT back four.

Kent could also be used in the free role behind the striker if we have 2 holding mids, its another option. But in general we should never have 3 deep playing CM like we did on Saturday.

Two holding midfielders is enough against 95% of the teams we play against. That then leaves us 4 portions for attacking players:
Kent
Morelos
Hagi/Wright
Aribo/Sakala
At least 4 of those players should be on the pitch at any given time.

Play two holding midfielders but then someone like Hagi closer to Morelos to link the play.
Malmo looked dead on their feet in the last game. We have to press and force errors, if we do then there will be plenty of opportunities.

Calmed down a bit since yesterday but still feel deflated. We're just not used to losing anymore and so it becomes hard to take.
The players will respond and they have a great opportunity to put things right on Tuesday.
We have to realise that its going to be much harder this season. Going away to teams that hate us, and now have fans driving them on, will mean points will be dropped if we are not playing our best.
Looking forward to getting the full squad available. Jack and Roofe can be huge players this season.

I think a disrupted pre-season has probably had a significant effect. I think we'll get better.
I called both full backs cowards and I stand by that. It's not a new opinion based on today's performance, they've always been cowards. That doesn't mean they're terrible players, but they both shrink when the going gets tough.
Players like Kent have a bad game but never stop trying, even when nothing is coming off.
Some players have a steely determination and some dont. Tav and Borna dont.

Goldson is a decent player and doesn't have the luxury of hiding in games like some of the attackers.
Helander is by far our best defender, probably one of our best players but seems to be underrated. He was good today and I was impressed with his turn of pace against Malmo.

He is what he is. Limited technical ability, reasonable engine. Will not control or significantly influence a game.
Miles away from what we need. Just because he played in the English Prem does not make him good enough for Rangers. Lazy, lazy scouting.

Both of our full backs are cowards. They look good when they're allowed to play but shite themselves when tested.
I dont know who's worse but cant wait for Tav to not be our captain. Terrible defender, too concerned with running forward and scoring pens.

Yep. And 4 of those players we knew about in plenty of time to do something about it.
Imagine we had done something really crazy like asked Alfie to just take a week off and then another couple of weeks in Jan. Mental idea.
