Some of the worst times as a supporter are when everyone knows the manager is a lame duck but the club won’t pull the trigger. Hate it when part of me is quietly hoping for a bad result because it might force the board’s hand but you know that’s ultimately best for us in the longer term.

It's becoming more evident that the board aren't going to sack him (which they should do), they surely have to come out and back him. I know it's not in their make-up to say anything and usually do so after the horse has bolted e.g., Australia and champions league ticket pricing. For me and most others I've spoken to, the horse has well and truly fucked off and they need to say something, even if it is backing him.
