What PG doesn’t get is the power of communications and some simple screenshots from a forum where no one is really offended can actually go viral across the social medias and then the press can they choose to run or not to run an article.

For example a wife beating chairman of a club jokingly wishes thousands of fans to fall in a river and imagine if there were also historical sectarian tweets from the same guy.

We then throw in some retweets and messages from this so called family man to an internet porn lassie going on about the thickness of strap ons and the press just might have a story.
They then connect this chairman to the biggest club in the country where they know any story goes viral and boom we have a winner.
We can also comment on asking if this guy is fit and proper to be associated with running a football club and should the SFA know about the above and would they be questioning if he’s fit and proper:
    Football Chairman ✔️
    Violence to women ✔️
    Sectarianism ✔️
    Porn ✔️
    Rangers FC ✔️
    SFA  ✔️

So really nothing above there that will get many clicks or sell papers 🤔

Whilst I understand the wish for "parity", it must be exhausting monitoring social media and looking for things to be offended by. I'm still not entirely sure if resorting to sellick tactics of faux victimhood is the right tactic. It makes me feel a bit queasy as - like most Bears I assume - abuse from that lot is water off a ducks back and causes me more amusement than anything else. As for the H** term I can't pretend  I find this offensive. I think we all know it isn't really sectarian.  Didnt we use to call them it back in the day ? And it's still commonly used for Germans ? Telling your enemies you are offended by a term merely weaponizes it and gives them a powerful tool to use against you.

This for me all day. Even when Alfie is not scoring, he is a big enough threat to pull defenders out of position to mark him, creating space for others. This is massively important in games where the opposition park the bus.

Cause that's not how football works - a game is just about scoring more than the other team regardless how many they score so a striker not scoring causes the defeat just as much as a keeper not saving.

On that, VAR did help us tonight. The ref didn't give the penalty anyway, so without VAR we still weren't getting it.
But without VAR we weren't getting that goal either, you could have even shown the ref a replay of it and he still would have said it was offside. Huge win for VAR that Roofe goal.
Penalty call was shocking human error, but ultimately didn't make anything worse than was already decided.

If it gets to half time and we haven't scored yet, even if we've looked to have been playing well, I will start to get seriously worried that the campaign is over.

I thought Roofe did well to get by the man and get the ball across. Morelos has made an arse of it, not him.

They both cost us the points.
The sitter from Morelos was, in the end, as pivotal as Mcgregor's mistake.
    Why can't it be both?

I can't accept it because McGregor made 1 mistake in the whole game, while Morelos made multiple. Don't think it is fair to point the finger at the goalie.

McGregor earns us a lot if points over a season,  of course he blundered,  but hes only human,  Goram,  Woods,  Klos all made the odd mistake

Should be remembered Morelos doesn't take penalties which makes his record even more impressive.

Saying that he won't go for double figures because only 6 have in 130 years, when all 6 of them have been in the last 8 years, in a market which is ever rising - and then using the valuations of 2 players which were in the last year of their contracts who still went for big money in/around double figures, and continually ignoring the fact we're talking about Aribo as if he was not in the last 18 months of his contract is ridiculous. Yes.
Like I said, it's not the premise of the argument, it's the points you've used.

We've had offers though. So we could have.
When was the last time we've came off the back of an invincible league season and 3 years of strong European success? Just because we've not been in a position to before doesn't mean we shouldn't now that we are. In current climate, now having won something, and the talent of someone like Aribo, he shouldn't be going for single figures. Neither should Hagi, Kent or Kamara

This shouldn’t be a Morelos/Roofe argument as both should start.
we can’t be having Morelos or Roofe sitting on bench whilst we are sorely lacking players who can chip in with goals.

Because they all feed into each other. Shite results in Europe (and the lack of finance that comes with it) = a big drop in £. A big drop in £ = a big drop in quality of players. A big drop in quality of players = no title challenge.
