  1. The fact is, there are very few clubs in Europe who could attract 46 thousand fans paying £30 a head on a thursday in the UEFA
  2. Just to confirm, this award is not voted by Managers, Journalists etc, it is voted by the fans, heck Sebo would have won player of the month awards with us. Whenever i checked he has either been a sub or has been hooked by his team, still one last cry 'seeeeebbbbbooooooo'
  3. Some great goals shown, for me my favourites at the garyglitterdome are either of Neil McCann's on that great day http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ntY-M1S-ClU or wee Rodney Wallace in the last couple of minutes - esp. just to see the ball boy kick the ball in frustration http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aPkV341aqTs (about 1m 50 into it) every single one of them is special
  4. Come on mate, more than second in a row! He was great against Aberdeen as well, has been our best midfielder for the past 5/6 games!! Had to be Burke for me though, great performance! ok, should clarify, i meant his second REALLY good game in a row - whereas he had played well before that
  5. Thomson for me, one of his best SPL performances for me - second good game in a row - esp with Fergusons poor form continuing
  6. i think that a lot of Adriano's problems were personal as well - he had a bereavement in his family and after that he seemed a different player completely - on his day he was unstoppable (either on the field or in pro evo)
  7. i always thought that Capello is one of THE strictest coaches who demands extreme rigidity to his tactical plans - which is great for disciplined players. Englands best players are ones that are used to playing more expansively guys like Lampard and Gerrard who run about all over the shop to create chances, Joe Cole who likes to wander, Shaun Wright Phillips etc and Rooney it will be interesting to see how they fit into the Capello system - esp. considering he was more or less booted out of Madrid despite winning the league due to the unsatisfactory style of football his team played the one major thing about Capello though, there is not a chance in hell that he will be swayed by media or public pressure
  8. torres against J-rod, it hardly seems fair does it?
  9. found it i have virgin media its on channel 853 - itv audio descriptive
  10. how come itv arent showing the Marseille Liverpool game anymore? It was scheduled to be shown, then as soon as the program begins there is a message saying that there is a change to programming and chelsea valencia is on. So both itv and itv 4 are showing chelsea valencia and no one is showing Marseille Liverpool
  11. im not sure where Ricky Hatton can go, despite a convincing defeat i think he's still an elite level fighter - but the problem is that he is at his best at 140lb and there really isnt any big fights at that level there is Junior Witter who has been calling out Hatton for years, another british junior welter World Champ - and witter is a legit fighter, but the vast majority of the time he is ridiculously boring and nobody would pay to see him fight or Hatton can try to use financial/tv exposure muscle to call some of the other guys at 147 down a weight..
  12. I don't know if you were aware but Hatton has just been boxing live on TV and got taken apart by a boxer that did'nt even come out of 2nd gear. You will be able to watch it later today i'm sire. yes, i saw the fight yes, he got clearly beat by mayweather so did De La Hoya, so did Judah, so did Castillo, so did Gatti, so did the late Chico Corrales, so did every fighter who has come into contact with Mayweather and your comment was 'fucking joke of a fighter' i listed his accomplishments hatton is listed in almost every top ten list for active pound for pound fighters but yeh, cos he got beat by Mayweather he is a bum and should retire? absolute fucking bollocks
  13. fucking joke of a boxer? showing your lack of knowledge Hatton was Ring Magazine boxer of the year in 2005 - if you know anything at all about boxing then you know that makes him one of the elite boxers there is Beat the almost unbeatable kostya tsyzu, defended his title at light welter several times went up and down the weights and won titles - as well as being named Ring champion - once again an extremely important happening for a boxer damn ignorant of boxing if you are making the comments you are
