  1. Yass Muff, great minds :beer2: i love seeing the bookies getting gubbed Well done mate Saw a few folk had backed Sevilla, thought about backing them at 6/1 when they were at 3-3, just decided to leave it but. Onto tonight- £10 West Ham 2-1 @ 11/1 £5 draw ht/ft @ 5/1
  2. Well pissed off the day lads, on both the footie and horses. On the futba had- £20 treble on Fulham 11/8, Liverpool 4/6 and Chelsea 8/13 £5 accum on Fulham 11/8, Liverpool 4/6, Chelsea 8/13 and ht draw-ft Man U 7/2 £2 double on Fulham 2-1 8/1 and Chelsea 2-0 6/1 So basicaly my coupon was fucked before 3pm, where as if Fulham had scored another I would have netted a few quid short of 400. Ive said loads of times that no matter how confident I felt I would never bet on the midday games :angry2: Onto the horses, I got the placepot up at Sanddown which paid £208 which isnt bad, but ive just discovered 2 minutes ago that on the scoop6 I was only one out from getting the placepot which payed over £300. And the race that I lost out on? The 1.25 at Sandown. So I had picked the right one on my normal placepot but picked a completely different horse on the scoop6. You might not know what that means unless you bet on the horses, but believe me, its fucking gutting
  3. Ive seen people on here say hes a great keeper
  4. Fuckin raging, knew Braga would win the night. Came into some money the day and fancied a decent single on it. 9/5 they were aswell.
  5. In Scotland, Celtic earned £272,989, compared to four figure sums. picked up by Inverness and Rangers. German side Werder Bremen were highest earners overall, taking in £935,107. England's overall sum comes in third behind Germany and Spain in the list of top earning countries, despite the national team failing to qualify for the tournament. 39 players from the English top flight, 23 of them from the top four of Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United, made the trip to Austria and Switzerland. Among that number were Liverpool striker Fernando Torres for Spain, Chelsea's Michael Ballack for Germany and Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo for Portugal. Less likely beneficiaries in England were Championship side Southampton, who were compensated for winger Rudi Skacel's involvement in the Czech Republic squad, and Sheffield United who were paid for Turkey's selection of striker Colin Kazim-Richards. Premier League champions Manchester United earned the fourth highest amount in England, £440,614, while Chelsea and Liverpool came second and third with £702,827 and £607,641 respectively. TOP FIVE EARNERS Werder Bremen [Germany] - £935,107 Olympique Lyonnais [France] - £888,412 Bayern Munich [Germany] - £870,452 Real Madrid [spain] - £822,559 FC Barcelona [spain] - £816,573 Scottish Premier League side Inverness Caledonian Thistle were paid £57,471 for the services of Romanian striker Marius Niculae, almost twice the £28,736 Rangers received for the Czech Republic's Libor Sionko. Sionko left the Ibrox outfit in 2007, but had participated in his country's Euro 2008 qualifiers during the two preceding seasons, so the Glasgow club were entitled to compensation under Uefa's criteria. The sums are accumulated by Uefa, with clubs receiving compensation amounting to approximately £3,420 per player, per day and also take into account pre-tournament qualifiers. The payments were agreed to last January as part of a deal to end a long-running dispute between the clubs and the governing bodies Fifa and Uefa. ----------------------------------------- LOLZ
  6. One of the reasons we failed was because we had 3 stadiums in one city. Glasgow wasplanning on using all 3 of them.
  7. Same... I dont think they could have picked a more ridiculous target... Maldini... Totti?
  8. Tomorrow im having- Heerenveen v Braga Match Betting Braga 9/5 Copenhagen v Rosenborg Match Betting Copenhagen 8/11 Total stake £7.67 Estimated return £37.09 All thats left in my account. Cant afford any more cause 1 im rooked and 2 got my eye on the tingle on sat. Quite confident of Braga tbh. Fingers crossed
  9. Why would they not look for 40m again? Bet Man C would have paid it in Jan.
  10. Well firstly weve already tried that, and the bid fell at the first hurdle. And from 2016 theres gonna be an extra 8 teams in the competition, so unfortunately it just wouldnt work.
  11. Thought the maximum you could tie a player to a club was 5 years? And £12m a year! Unbelievable.
  12. SCOTS CONFIRM EURO 2016 BID The Scottish and Welsh football associations could enter into a joint bid for the 2016 European Championships after both confirmed "tentative" talks over co-hosting the event had taken place. Scotland's long-standing dream of staging the tournament appeared to have ended in September when UEFA announced they were increasing the number of finalists from 16 to 24 in eight years' time. The country lacks the infrastructure to host an expanded tournament but the Scottish FA are looking to link up with one of their near neighbours in the hope a joint bid will be successful. They have also held talks with Northern Ireland, but it is understood this is a non-starter, leaving Wales as the only viable alternative. In a statement released, the SFA said: "As we've always said, we would love to host the European Championships in Scotland. "However, we realise it's a huge undertaking and, as far as 2016 goes, we simply couldn't host it by ourselves. "We're meeting with the other Home Nations at the International Football Association board meeting in Belfast in February. I'm sure it's something we'll discuss. "If there was a feeling that a bid was a possibility, we would then commission a feasibility study." Talks between the SFA and the Football Association of Wales over a joint bid have been mooted for more than a year, with the FAW revealing in April 2007 they hoped to enter into discussions. But this is the first time the SFA have confirmed such talks have taken place. An FAW spokesman said "very tentative" discussions have been ongoing for some time. He added: "We are interested in the idea and it's a question of where it goes from there." Meanwhile, UEFA general secretary David Taylor insists Scotland would be a "great place" to hold the tournament. Former SFA chief executive Taylor, who was involved in the unsuccessful bid to bring Euro 2008 to Scotland and the Republic of Ireland, added in the Herald: "It would be terrific. But I must be careful here. "My enthusiasm for and advice to any country could be perceived in the wrong way. Many countries in UEFA are capable of hosting the tournament." UEFA decided in September to expand the European Championship finals from 2016. Current SFA chief executive Gordon Smith had lobbied for the change, despite admitting it would rule his country out of bidding individually for future tournaments. However, as the expansion gives Scotland a much better chance of qualifying, Smith felt it was a sacrifice worth making.
  13. Yeah but the tournament isnt for another 3 years!
  14. Good luck with that Jasper, we'll all have our fingers crossed for you there. Well I think its a decent bet tbh. Dont get me wrong, if caley are winning at HT, I will want it to stay that way.
