  1. Im sure the commentator said there was AT LEAT 50k there today, and then blamed the empty seats on the weather. Remember, its not just getting to the game thats the problem, its coming back from it too
  2. Great chance for Hibs there, long range Riordan shot deflects of caldwell and Boruc done well to get down to it.
  3. Well seeing as 4 out of my 5 bets are fucked thanks to Man U, ive done another 2, so bets for today are- £20.00 Reading (-1) 15/8 £5.00 Treble Hull 11/5 Blackburn 11/10 Reading (-1) 15/8 £1.00 Lucky15 Doncaster 4/1 Northampton 9/2 Cheltenham 4/1 Lincoln City 2/1 ofcourse, if Hull dont win today then once again my other bets in the treble will be fucked, despite the fact they dont kick off till later
  4. Odds on favourite turned over at the first at Ascot and the full card now ruined
  5. Couple of non runners at Aintree so changed the picks- Aintree- 1)1,3 2)1,5 3)1,4 4)1 5)1,2,8 6)1,10 (48 lines)
  6. I prefer www.livescore.com prob not as quick, but easier to view the first one allows you to pick your matches Aye, was my point tbh. Pressing the + adds it to a list and it makes a noise when it scores, but good for your coupon even if you have no noise scope. Really? Didnt know that

  8. Gonna do a couple of placepots tomorrow. The first 2 races at Newbury are maiden's with 17+ runners so I will be leaving that meeting alone. for the first time i'll be picking more than 1 horse in each leg, so bets will be smaller. Im incorporating the top weight factor as mentioned above- and will also (again, for the first time) include short priced favourites. Aintree- 1)1,2 2)1,5 3)1,3 4)1 5)1,2,8 6)1,10 (48 lines) Doncaster- 1)1 2)1,7,16 3)10 4)5,7 5)1,2 6)2,7 (24 lines)

  12. Bolton are a good bet, banker of the weekend has to be Man U.
  13. Thats very interesting mate, but I cant imagine much of a payout when you hit it. See, these are the horses I tend to avoid. Short priced favourites getting turned over give you a better chance of hitting a big prize. Do you use this system yourself? How has it worked for you?
  14. My dad puts on the placepot and if there are big priced winners in the 6 races you can get odds of 5000+/1 Only problem with the placepot is if you don't get a place in the 1st race then you are fucked for the rest of it. Like taking an early kick off in the footy. Thats the worst part of it, especially if you get a place in the rest of the races. Another down point is picking big priced winners...doesnt count for anything. Yetsreday I got a 12/1 winner, and the day before I picked a 16/1 shot that won. Both counted for fuck all. First race in one of the meetings yesterday the one I picked was the 50/1 outsider. Dont know how I managed to pick that one out. Think the buggers still trying to finish the race.
  15. Not alot tbh. Usually jus tplay the placepots- pick a horse from each of the first 6 races in a a meeting, and they place then you get something back. Payout depends on how many winners there are altogether. Its best to avoid picking the favourites, as thats who most people will pick. Yesterday at Carlisle, the placepot paid £38.80 for every £1, and the fav placed in each of the races except the first. At Ludlow it paid 265.90 to each £, and there were still 4 favs that placed. Ive seen the paout at £3 odds, cause all the favourites placed.
  16. £5.00 double on the donkeys today- Dream Win (1:50) & Leocorno (2:20) 50/1 Total stake £5.00 Estimated return £255.00 Full stake £5.00 Full Estimated return £255.00

  18. Still half an hr left in Pompey game, but looking unlikely

  21. This is they way Muslims react to things, wont be surprised if they start burning effigies.
  22. Anyone bought it? If so, I hope you can turn to page 7 for me and put my mind at ease. Theres a 2 page story regarding Strathclydes finest taking 14,000 days off work due to stress. In the article there are 3 pictures, one headlined "murder investigations", one "protest marches" and one "football matches". In the football matches pic, there are 3 or 4 cops at the front, and by looking closely to the background you can see its Sellik park; a small bit of green railing, and one green, white and yellow scarf. This is what puzzles me. On first glance at the pic, it appears as if there is an arm reaching up, holding a blue scarf/ribbon of some sort. Now, to my untrained eyes, it looks as if this blue article has been added to the picture, as it looks so fake. Funny thing is, the blue in the picture seems to be the first thing you are drawn to, and unless you took a good look at the picture, anyone could be believed that it was a rangers scarf, in the rangers end. Now am I being paranoid? Or does this picture try to portray that its Rangers fans that are "causing the stress" for the coppers at football matches? Please, if you have the paper next to you, have a look.
