    Ahh OK
But would be surprised if Sky were happy with that - would assume they would want contracted games to go ahead?
Who knows - we can have games with crowds tomorrow but not on Sunday, that makes as much sense as any of this shite!!!

I imagine there's quite a high chance of bumping into Postecoglou wherever they sell cake.

I have one of those stupid wee apps that update my diary on the computer - just noticed today , it's moved Stirling Albion in the Cup to Friday.
But can't find it confirmed anywhere
Just a glitch, or have Premier Sports moved us to Friday night again??

Prior to Gio coming in we had conceded first, 6 games in a row.
Since Gio has arrived, we have scored first in every game, 6 games in a row. 4 clean sheets too.
Livi, Hibs, Hearts, Lyon away and a must win (by 2) at home to Sparta (and also Dundee which was a great performance) is not far off as tough as it gets.
We hadn't won at Tynecastle in our last 3 attempts (2019). Always a horrible horrible, tough place to go. Massive win.
    Outstanding start. Absolutely outstanding.

Think they have seven games to the winter break - if Kyogo is out for that run of games would ramp up the pressure on them in the league (as much as I want them to lose in the final, it's the game I care least about in December/January).

I really could care about the league cup either, I think you are correct about the pressure in the league games, we take care of Hearts on Sunday and I've a feeling something will give with the scum before the old firm.

If they drop points and we win at parkhead you'd have to look at it as us almost home free barring falling apart.

No understanding of why this pen is being discussed as 'soft' or is considered in any way doubtful. The view from behind the goal is clear and you can see th4e contact being made. It's a pen 100 times out 100.
Honestly, if that had been Morelos on a Hibs player in the box, they would only be debating why he wasn't sent off - and I genuinely think that would be the case!

McLaughlin is a no brainer - as would another year for McGregor assuming he's interested.
Outfield, Balogun is worth keeping if Goldson leaves - he's right footed and far better playing that side rather than on the left. If Goldson signs, then he could maybe be moved on to free up wages.
I'd keep Davis/Arfield around as long as they're not stopping younger players coming through

Greig fucked around with the Johnstone, Smith, Cooper front line - for no apparent reason other than to put his mark on things. But was also tactically inept - and didn't have the character and man management of Wallace.
Started to dismantle the 78 team, then ran smack bang into Alex Ferguson and Jim McLean, who had him in their back pocket
Wallace never had a chance in his second spell, playing staff wise we were all over the shop, and don't think the money was there to build a new team until Murray turned up
Though probably still my favourite time going to games

    Just for context
Was in London on holiday with my folks in 1980 - Arsenal v Juventus in Cup Winners Cup Semi Final. Tube up to the ground on spec and bought a ticket from the ticket office before kick off, think it was a few pounds, certainly well within the scope of my pocket money.
Was at 82 World Cup, tickets were a few quid, same in Mexico in 86 and grounds were half empty, In 1990 in Italy, suddenly it was hard to get tickets, by 1998 near impossible
Football didn't really get popular or expensive until well into the late eighties, early nineties - lots of factors but live games on TV built the popularity, before then you could go to the majority of games and pay cash. Mid 70's kids were lifted over the turnstiles with Polis and turnstile guy there - was just accepted practice. Certainly was nothing to do with Rangers being poor during that period - used to go to all sorts of games in Scotland, could pay cash for Dundee Utd in the later stages in Europe, even went with pals at school to European games at Parkhead, just to watch the game, was walk up and pay a few quid to get in - and no, I wasn't supporting them.
Tried one year as a kid to go to as many games as I could in one season, ended up going to something like 80 games (and this was before you would ever see a game on a Sunday, Thursday or Friday). Was buttons to get in, did it all on money I made on a paper round and I don't think I ever remember seeing a game sold out.
And a dubious claim to fame is I went to every league and domestic cup game managed by John Grieg!   So everything that came after was definitely bought and paid for doing that period!

The attendances were often poor in the 70s as well, 15,000 and the like mid-season against the likes of Clydebank.  It got worse in the 80s partly because we were not so good on the park, but football in general was looked on poorly by a lot of the general public due to hooliganism and the grounds were often in poor nick, not Ibrox though.  I can remember Scottish Cup ties with Albion Rovers and Dumbarton in 1982 and the place seemed almost empty.  When Souness came you couldn't rely on just picking and choosing your games as there were quite a few matches where people got locked out, Hamilton in 1987 for instance - 5,000 locked out and Ibrox packed, and that was the start of large-scale season ticket buying.
