McDonald, Killen - average SPL players! Brown - unproven SPL player with some potential. Hardly reasons to be quaking in our boots are they? Put some trust in Walter, he won't be rushed into buying a player just to appease the supporters! Falling behind?..... Nah, the gap is closing all the time!

As long a Chesney keeps signing players of the standard of Killen and McDonald - this bear is no' panicking!!

Knowing Dado's love for the club there's every possibility that he's had a wee chat with Wattie on the Balaban subject! Personally I think he's definitely worth a punt at that price as we are not going to get a better prospect for that money. Look like a confident striker to me who's not afraid to have a shot at goal and is dangerous from free kicks. Go get 'im Walter!

I agree he did play well v Italy but I still say he's an above average player by SPL standards who has been flattered by a purchase price twice his market value. I would still have like to have seen him sign for us, however, there are very few £4m players in Scotland and Brown is certainly not one of them.

Slightly above average SPL player who is worth 2m tops. Next season will underline this.

I would give Burke one last season to prove his worth ans most importatntly believe we need another quality central defender. Ugo has done a grand job on a temporary basis but is a half a yard too slow and is not the answer for next season.

The one thing that will happen (although it pains me to say it) is that they have a better chance of attracting quality players due to their PR machine milking this season's CL appearance for all it's worth! However Chesney has shown that he can take a decent player and turn him into a mediocre one, so all is not lost. I believe they will make a mistake buying for the Champions league rather than the SPL if you know what I mean and I think we need to focus on just that by winning a couple of SPL titles on thr trot and then refocussing on Europe.

I'm glad he's back as I don't believe there is anyone out there that could do a better job for us. What the club needs is stability and a few league titles!
