People often jump with their arms raised, Mohsni has every right to raised his arms. If I use my body to shield the ball from a player, am I impeding them? Nope, I'm playing smart and to my advantage. The keeper had no intention of 'clearing the ball' but rather, if you cared to watch, attempted to catch the ball whilst an opponent was contesting for it. The keeper was at fault for his hesitation. To say that he was impeded is majorly clutching at straws.

There's only one flaw to your analogy here though... Mohsni didn't touch the keeper with hands or feet, or any other part of his body for that matter. The keeper went into Mohsni and fouled him thereafter by dragging him to the ground.

I see no problem with it. Mohsni contested for a high ball fairly, with only eyes on the ball. He didn't impede Parry in any way and it was a usual contest which I'd expect to see in a game, only Parry screwed up by trying to catch it instead of punching it when he was under pressure. Case closed.

If we get through to the semis, we obviously won't get shafted...
