Only player in the league that gets off without a second yellow. Lost count of the times I’ve seen Alfie booked for asking the ref a question never mind screaming at them every 2 minutes.

If the penalty was missed then Clancy would’ve had it retaken for that. 100%

Think people do forget that run of games Lundstram had where he was playing well for us and starting to look very settled. Obviously wouldn’t be my first choice but with the options available he has to start for me. He was known for being box to box at Sheffield United. With Arfield and Aribo unavailable we will need him to be driving the team forward and focus on the attacking side of his game.

Similar thing in our game yesterday when we took a quick corner but were told to take it back and wait because the ball was out and United wanted to make a sub... Suppose Hibs players should’ve been switched on anyway but my understanding was that if the game has stopped then their substitution should have been allowed.

You have to be a lunatic to cast doubt on our penalty yesterday. If it was a bad decision fair enough, it wasn’t. Today was a bad decision so there is a reason for people to be aggrieved. As I said , I don’t believe refs are out to get us. I believe they are being relentlessly intimidated from board to green brigade by celtic. Given the comments at celtic’s AGM, the previous referee strike and referees requiring police protection from that mob, I’d say it’s a fair belief to hold.

Agree there isn’t an agenda, but there is undoubtedly a relentless campaign of intimidation against referees that has been paying off very nicely for them in recent weeks. It’s kept them in the title race and has helped them to a trophy today.

I’ve said it before I don’t think it’s cheating refs. I just think it’s human beings who are susceptible to intimidation, taking the easy decision for a quiet life. If Beaton gave that and hibs went on to win, he knows that he and his family are in physical danger from lunatics, aided by irresponsible pundits.

I think peoples concern is exactly the game on the 2nd. We are more than good enough to win but the way things are going, do we trust refs to give big decisions against celtic in the game should they come up? Going by recent weeks I can’t say I’m confident they will.

You can see how their relentless intimidation on refs has paid off. Every little thing going their way. Free kick to celtic for every small nudge, play on when its hibs. As I type this, stonewall pen for hibs denied 😂
