  1. Driving to newcastle then ferry form there to the dam and same for return :D Bottle of vodka and bottle of Jagermeister for the ferry :beer1:

We are doing the same, looking forward to it :D

Shouldn't be too hard getting the swally on ferry eh ?

  2. Bucharest is without doubt the worst trip I've ever been on. From start to finish.

I thought it was decent enough! We were in some pub all night with the tunes playing, it was bouncing! Gas cookers were pretty good as well :D

The stadium and surrounding streets were fucking awful though. As you said in Lisbon, how Tynecastle got a knock back from Europe and that stadium didn't is unbelievable.

Just thank fuck we weren't actually in Unireas ground.

  3. I thought Barcelona was good at the time, in retrospect it was pretty shite! A lot of people over on the jaunt, probably myself included at the time; I was 16 I think.

Been to plenty Euro away games since then and they've all been great. Bucharest was a bit of a shite-hole but had some night out before.

  4. Assuming you're actively involved in TBO or UB, how far off do you think this "merging" is?

I don't think I'm the only one that wants to see the two groups join together. To be fair, I also heard that there was a lot of differences involved that has stopped such a move from happening. Judging by what you've said, I'm guessing that that isn't at all the case.

If so, then shouldn't this be getting seriously considered?

I am actively involved in the UB.

IMO a permanent group up is inevitable! It's all really down to Rangers, they need to make a section available for all interested parties to move into; only then can we really move forward.

Previously the individuals in both groups have had personal fall-outs, which is 100% all in the past! Both groups get on very well.

  5. You tell me.

I heard that they don't exactly see eye to eye, and want to support the team in a different way (TBO with more banners, flags,... and the UB in a more British way, just song mostly).

The fact both groups also seem to be firmly against merging into one bigger group seems to tell it's own story.

    :lol: :lol: :lol::lol:

Couldn't be further from the truth, you'll often find a few of us at the pub together after the game! The " UB in a more British way, song mostly " is also completely wrong; we have tifo flags/two sticks before most games.

When have the groups even stated they are " firmly against merging " ? Or is that something else you guessed ?

  6. Can get home end tickets here at the link below. Dutch stadiums are notorious for being strict with away fans being mixed with home, aslong as you're not acting like a total spacker you'll be fine.

Heard rumours you need to show Dutch ID to collect tickets but not sure! Heard the same stories about other places and there hasn't been a problem before as far as I can remember.

  7. Train and ferry sorted, worked out about £110 for everything which is decent enough considering we left it pretty late! Heard some good stories about the ferry, looking forward to it.

Any hotel recommendations ? Need to sort that today for the 4 of us!
