I am for one complaining about this! The result of the game has no influence on the matter. I was stuck in the crowd of about 2,000 Rangers fans 10 mins before KO. Police never once told us any information or updates on the turnstiles being broken. There were small kids in amongst the crush who were near enough being trampled on. It is unacceptable that Police could not delay KO for 15 mins to let the fans in safely. The fans were getting restless and even more angry at the lack of information being passed on. One of my friends approached the police and said "what are your contingency plans for the turnstiles failing and what is your risk assessment policy"...he was replied with "what is a risk assessment". Im sorry but a police officer who has no idea what a risk assessment is and he is supposed to be responsibile for our safety, completely unacceptable. One particular officer on a horse told us all to go to the other turnstiles to get into the stadium, so that caused a huge rush only to be turned away because we were upper tier. Potentially they had another stadium disaster on their hands as fans were crushed in this small area for around 45 mins pushing and shoving to get in the queue. The fans were singing songs and one police man announced "we have a zero tollerance policy on sectarian singing"! Which annoyed the fans even more, they were more concerned with fans singing a few songs than getting them into the stadium safely. It is a disgrace that we were treated in such a fashion, herded like animals in the first place then being caged, pushed and shoved constantly for 45 mins. To see around 100 officers stand and do nothing! I never got into the stadium till 25 mins of the game had been played! Yes the performance was unacceptable, the team were poor, no fight, no passion and no quality! But the fans should be the focal point of the game, you saw the performance of the away fans yesterday! Unbelievable! And to be treated in such a fashion was a disgrace to say the least! Rant over!!
