  1. I could not even get a ring tonw from them the other day, just kept cutting me off and when i did get through i waited over 20 mins without an answer, what a joke, i had to hang up as I had to get back to work. Probably cost me a fortune on my mobile bill as well. Wankers.
  2. I know the jets won in,Pittsburgh a month ago but this time I Dnt see lightning striking twice. I think this will be 1 step too far for them this season but they have to be pleased with the progress under big Rex this year.
  3. Too right Del, NFC for the win!! We look likely to have to go through another majot rebuilding phase in the off season. We had 287 personnel transactions last year and I jsut read a report that said 9 of our starters from Sunday are not even contracted for next season yet. We need to strengthen in quite a few areas. I would sing up Matt Hass for 1 more year, try to get a QB in the draft or a decent trade (Vince young or Kevin Kolb please Jon schneider)!!Our O-Line needs a right tackle badly, we have Okung at LT but we never had any consistency in selection all year and we had no run game at all for 90% of the season. Replace Milloy at safety and Trufants best days are behind him at CB so secondary is a major concern for me, Earl Thomas will be great for us in years to come but he is young and needs some help along the way. We could use a reciever who can actually hold onto the ball when the big plays are on the line, Obomanu and Butler are young and have potential and Mike Williams looks like he will be solid. Give Stokley another year as he was a big 3rd down guy for us at times. I like our defense overall but we need a better pass rush from our front 4. Our Linebackers are probably our strongest part of the team just now so they can stay the same. Overall still quite a bit of work to do in Seattle but I think Carroll is the man for the job! Go Hawks!

  5. Shame the Hawks never turned up until the 4th quarter on sunday but it was curtains by that point. Just 1 step to far for a limited team. Some bad falls for TE Carlson and CB Trufant. 2 of my favourite players and it was worrying seeing Carlson go off like that as he looked in a bad way. Both seem to be fine according to reports today. I bet the Packers at the start ofthe season so I will be putting my support behind them despite their awful coloured uniforms hehe
  6. Do not doubt the Hawks!! What a game, we saved our best performance of the season for when it counted!! Matt Hass rolled back the years and had the best game for a QB in the playoffs in franchise history, 4 TDs and only 1 INT which was on obomanu imo. We played hard and it was a great game although I was going off my head jumping up anddown for most of it, that run by Lynch was awesome, what a stiff arm! The desire is what I thought we would have and we were pumped up right from the start, I was worried in the 4th when the saints started to push but we held out well and the D had some big plays when we needed it most. If the packers win we will be going to Chicago I think which is winnable for us as we won there earlier in the season, I just wish we were at home! 3 False starts again! Saints were just 12th manned!!! YAS!
  7. They beat us with ease in the superdome a few weeks ago so I aint too confident. But you gotta buy a ticket to win the raffle and we are at home so should be closer than last time. Also, Vince Young has been told he aint gonna be at the Titans next year, I would love it if Seattle got him in as a starter next year as we wont get 1 of the top rated college QB's unfortunately due to our draft position, he needs a fresh start and I think under someone like Pete Carroll it might bring out the best in VY. We need a QB badly as Hasselbeck is done after this year as a starter and even though Whitehurst did well last week, he is in no way a franchise QB.
  8. And going to the show!! I think we could possibly cause an upset on SAt. The saints are without their 2 main RB's and if we stop wee reggie then we could pressure Brees, he has had a few games where he has thrown a few picks in them, we need to play to our best and hope for some luck along the way but after what Pete Carroll has done in the 1st year with the major turnover in staff I am just delighted with a divisional title.
  9. II am off this day anyway so will be able to make it along to pay my respects.
  10. Higgins knew what he was doing, luckily for him Snooker only has half a dozen players who make the sport worth watching and they need him badly to market it as he is clearly 1 of the best of all time. Just because the NOTW are scum in general doesn't mean he is guilt free. He knew what was going down and was a willing participant. All he got was a slap on the wrists. World snooker are not going to cut their nose to spite their face over this.
  11. They also found out that Tavaris Jackson sucks and is not the answer at QB long term. It is a good thing for the Vikes that he never played, it was just pointless and doing nothing for the organisation going forward playing Brett. He was getting the record, it was all they were playing for since Childress was fired. Looks like a lot of teams are going to be in the QB market come draft time including my Seahawks as it looks like Matt Hasselbeck is finally on his last legs. I do hope he gets 1 more 1 this season to get to 70 wins as a seahawk and become our leading QB in franchise history with wins. He deserves that as he has been a great servent to the Hawks.
  12. There goes our chance to win the division. 8-8 will do it but I thiunk the best we will finish is 0-9 possibly beating the Rams on the final day. I can't see Seattle beating the Falcons or the Bucs. Especially when we are now down another reciever as Deion Butler broke his leg on a TD catch against the 9ers. If it wasn't for injuries we would have waltzed the NFC west this year.
  13. His manager took the fall, I bet he got a nice golden handshake from Higgo for his trouble!!! We all seen the footage, we all know he was at it!
  14. early season cowboys so far!! takig a pumping in the opening quarter from the saints
  15. I havw to agree but part of me is quite pleased about it because being unpredictable does make everything more exciting and that is 1 of the reasons why the hawks are still in contention, the overall quality from the top teams not being what it was a year ago. iI am still enjoying this season though, I think there have been a lot more high scoring and ciompetitive games this year which makes for good tv.
  16. Yeah tg, if he doesn't sign q new deal I would love the hawks to get him as Matt can't go on forever. He has been different class this year. Do you guys think yhis has been the most unpredictable season ever in the NFL?
  17. Comeback story of the year in the NFL has gotta be Mike Williams of the seahawks at WR. Out of te NFL for 2 years and on the scrapheap has lost 2 stone and been our most productive offensive player this year. Playing with a broken finger on sunday he still had 11 catches for 147 yards. finally living up to the potential he had coming out of college. Hawks top of the NFC west as well after skelping the cardinals! Go Hawks!
  18. How will comments like that improve the quality of the thread?
  19. Quite a few teams linked with Moss, even my Seahawks but I don't think PC will sign him. WE don't need a reciever like him anyway, we need to get our injured players fit ASAP as we are entertaining the Giants on sunday which will probs see us sliding back to 4-4 along with the Rams. The NFC west is too close to call just now, just a pity the teams are so mediocre hehe
  20. we complain about the lack of physicality in football these days hehe
  21. I am gutted about that, I had rivers and malcolm floyd in my fantasy team as I thought the chargers would light up the board against the rams!
  22. My seahawks are doing on a number on the bears, in chicago as well! I hope we can close this game out, wonderful performance and 2 rushing touchdowns today! Great stuff!
  23. Bruce LEroy deserves to be destroyed, a lucky win in his fight, the guy thought he had it won and was slack allowing the submission. He is a bellend and so annoying. I actually prefer Koscheck, good banter but GSP is ice cool when deealing with him. The skit with him in his pants was hilarious this week. It should be good when they get back in the octagon.
