Bakbear got a reaction from Bobby Hume in Goldson
No one said every important game.... he is one of the best defenders we have had that can have a massive howler in him. When I think of our best centre halves from history, I don't remember them having those clangers in them. They were dependable. Goldson plays to a really high level and has certainly been our best CH of the last 4 /5 years but he frequently just has a massive fuck up in him. It is so frustrating.
If he had just cleared that ball in Seville we would very likely have another European trophy in the trophy room....
.... also I still have a bitter taste from his comments when we went 3 goals down to Hibs in the cup

On balance I am glad we have him but there is no getting away from his propensity to fuck shit up.

It really highlights the difference in the taigs and us, not only with how we react to referees but with how others react to us.
Celtic bitch and moan, the media and pundits feed into it
We do it and it's because we're being entitled or sore losers.

See when a manager comes in and the way he speaks compared to how the players then implement what he says, you can see quickly if the manager has it or not.

I have tried explaining this with failing managers in the past. When folk are saying “he needs more time” or “he is getting the results” but you can just see it. When GVB was starting to fail you could see it wasn’t going to end well despite home being a club hero. And with Beale it was evident really quickly that he was never turning it around.

Well now we have found a manager that you could just see it WAS going to work. I had a brief wobble with Clemente when he subbed Cantwell before half time. I thought “maybe this guy is too egotistical” but that subbing was the best thing that could have happened to Cantwell and as a message to the rest of the team.

From the next match he played Cantwell I knew we had a proper manager. You can just see it. The players respect him, they understand what he asks of them, they believe in what he is trying to do. I really hope he settles here because he could bring years of success to our club if we can hold on to him

MOTM for me today but his first half performance was one of the best midfield performances I’ve seen in a long time.
Hopefully get a new deal sorted out to suit us and him.

Butland has been great but in reality doesn't have to do much most of time these days. Maybe could have been Sima if he stayed fit but at the moment I'd say it's Lundstram's to lose.

First 20 minutes I already had Lundy pegged as MoTM. Now it could be Yilmaz, Diomande, Souttar, great performances all over the park

Walsh gave goal kick withoit seeing handball. Collum saw the blatant handball and made it go away as a penalty. The sfa then colluded to attempt to justify this corruption.
    That's it in a nutshell.

These games have always been an absolute battle. The players that win their battles in the first 15-20 minutes tend to go on to do the best in the fixture
We looked scared in that period. Ridvan came on to a decent game but he started poorly and gave the ball away. Sima was probably the worst, he genuinely got pressed and kicked the ball out the park 2 or 3 times. That kind of start start emboldens the other team settles any nerves they might have had. McAusland looked nervy, still can’t explain Tav. Dessers is worse than a man down. Edit: totally forgot how bad Cantwell was too
The way we started yesterday was nervy as fuck and that gave them confidence and they dominated the midfield pretty much after that.

conceding to that goal straight after half time was a hammer blow. All ifs and buts but if we had kept that out I think we would have grown back into the game quicker than we did.

Never good losing to them but they can Chuck around the bravado all they like. A massively weakened squad went in to their midden with no supporters and held their own against a team that absolutely needed to win that game. If the fine margins had gone differently yesterday there would have been a full scale revolt over there and they know it.

Post the Winter Break with a replenished and refreshed squad having completed a training camp with the new manager having had more time to work with the players and we will see what bravado does for them come May.

Gerrard hated them and from that installed an attitude within the squad that ran through it and that coincided with our best spell against them.
How can it just be a quality issue when a group can go to Dortmund and slap them about but go to Parkhead and get spanked.
How can a team go to Betis and beat them then go to Parkhead and get outplayed and bullied for vast majority of the game.

They treat us with contempt and until we do likewise we will continue to struggle in games against them.
No coincidence when we were slapping them about we had players like Davis, Jack, Morelos, Arfield and even Kent who all fucking despised them and had a bit about them.
Contrast that to Cantwell, McCausland and Dessers.

There is some truth to this.... I am absolutely baffled by our team at times. They sometimes have the hearts of a lion and then they have the heart of a mouse....Tavernier is the main protagonist... he has saved us time and again and yet costs us so often too. He was shite for a lot of today, pish set pieces, poor decisions and yet he scores the free kick....

Our players were definitely quivering in the first 20 minutes. Sima, Cantwell, McAusland all looked overwhelmed by the occasion. Dessers  is just shite but that failure to shoot was 100% shitebaggery

It is hard to ignore the repeated choking of the same players even if they do occasionally step up... I don't think the accusation of shitebaggert can be completely dismissed
