I remember a group of elderly England fans chatting during the last world cup and although they did want to win it again a small part of them would always miss the swinging 60s with the red shirts and the Queen presenting Bobby Moore with Jules Rimet ... and you know thinking about Barcelona 72 I kinda know what they mean

To be fair his English was never very good 

Interesting in the Gerrard years that we showed our form in European trophies but had a compete drought in domestic ones ... no one will ever convince me if we had applied ourselves as much in the domestic games as we did the the Europa league that we wouldn't have won a lot more than 2 in 7 years 

Beale shat the bed and thought his first OF game would pass him by. He went with his trusted favourites in Lundstram and Kamara who got overran with pace in the middle & it blew up in his face. 

Must agree with Halliday last night a bit surprised that Raskin didn't start after us paying money to get him in before the summer AND even more surprised that he didn't come on at half time!
