  1. Jim, with respect, that is absolute nonsense. For a start, Boss didn't attend the meeting and hs had no discussion with Muir. Secondly, the answers which Muir gave to those at the meeting are the exact same as what our Chairman and Chief Exec have been telling the support since the AGM. They are not hiding anything. People were too busy believing media rumours and misinformation than actually listening to those in charge of the club.
  2. Sorry, but where in that article does he say he may sign a new contract?
  3. Every Rangers fan is welcome on this site. Can people please stop mentioning FF in conjuntion with every thread about RM? Both sites have their positives and negatives and are two of the biggest football fan sites anywhere on the internet. We are all on the same side so lets maybe show some respect to each other. Welcome to all the new members, enjoy the site.
  4. From my experience I'd hazard a guess that only a pretty small minority of FFers have heard of RM.... Censorship is a wonderful thing... So's irony..... Explain.

  6. He's declared open season on others. Let's not pretend there is some sort of halo there... Let's also not pretend he is the devil incarnate. Interesting article. I await one of the authors of RM's weekend articles coming along to clear this mess up. I'd be disappointed if either felt the need to respond to such personal attacks, there is no need to involve themselves in that. Not really a personal attack per se. Contacts stuck his head above the parapet and provided information. Information which is now being refuted. He should have no problem responding to mine and N_L's points. That is all well and good if it was just the information that was being disputed. But when he is being reffered to as Muir's PR man and accused of self-interest it is hardly worth responding to. Pretty low for whoever is responsible for the article to have to hide behind another poster though.
  7. Contacts did, as well as a few other well-known and respected Rangers fans.

  9. Are you serious? Yes. The views of posters on here are their own, not the site's. Of course, I hadn't assumed the OP referred to any official opinion that RM happened to hold. I assume when he talks about RM he means the site as a whole.
  10. Why? who cares who wrote it, it stimulates a necessary debate in murky waters. Can you not log on FF or get them on RM for a discussion? I would assume personally an element of truth in both sides. I do however know if everyone could work together we'd be a stronger force to force answers to the most important of questions. I care who wrote it because it is full of unsubstantiated nonsense and personal attacks on a friend of mine, that is why.

  12. The article was posted by Barry221 on FF. He did not write it, that is for sure. I'd really love to find out who put him up to posting it.
  13. The Protest was a success, yes. Our aim was to get banners into the ground and to hand out leaflets and mission statements which were both achieved As for the next step, that is something we shall examine over the next few days. Good to see you are looking to move the protest on further, that is positive. There is no doubt that we all have the best interests of the club at heart, and you should be commended for putting your head above the parapet and making an effort to get answers. I hope you don't take any of my criticism in this thread personally, it is completely constructive on my part. I want to see us get some concrete answers. But further to this i would like to see pressure be put on this Consortium who are acting as secretive as the club they are trying to buy. They need to come forward and start making efforts to communicate with the entire fanbase instead of drip-feeding information to the press and "in the know" people. I think the part about the consortium has already been answered. Has it?

  15. Now that the dust has settled, do the organisers believe the protest was a success? Have you achieved your goals? And if not, what is the next step?
  16. I would agree with that. He has also led from the front much more in the last few months than he ever has, another aspect of his game which is constantly improving. He was always prone to going missing last season when things were tough but now he fights for every ball in the midfield and carries play forward on his own. The spine of our team in Bougherra, Davis and Boyd is worth £20 million i would reckon.
  17. I have it on good authority that there is a convoy of JCBs currently travelling down Paisely Road West, en route to demolish Ibrox. My mate Seamus swears by it.
  18. Donald Muir is Murray's employee. He was put in place by Murray, not the bank, because of his reputation of being a turnaround specialist in makin struggling businesses profitable again. Therefore, having a go at Muir is silly. If you want to vent your frustration then get yourself over to Charlotte Square and let the man who almost killed our club know what you think of him.
  19. Hibs are the only team in Scotland who really have a legitimate reason to be proud of their Irish roots. A club who were formed of Irish heritage but have become proud of their Scottish identity and have never been inclusive. They are a world apart from Celtic.
  20. Exactly why such a claim that no anti-Muir/Lloyds banners would be displayed should not have been made.
  21. The 3 of those banners were not produced by us. They were independent fans who I met with. They took them in off their own backs. They are their banners for them to do what they see fit with. Can you clarify which banners were made from the donations to the protest then? can you clarify why it interests you please? Did you donate? did you 'back' the protest in any way? did you email suggestions or criticism? If the answer is 'no' to all of those then the question of why it actually makes ANY difference to you becomes a valid and ultimately important one in the context of this debate. Did i back the protest? Yes Did i donate? No Did i give my suggestions to Iniesta via PM on here? Yes Is that good enough for you or do Rangers fans not deserve an answer to a protest which was supposed to be in our interests? You have become far more aggressive in your responses today compared to the diplomatic way you have approached things beforehand. I felt the idea of asking the pressing questions to the club was the correct way to go, instead of blind criticism of Muir or Lloyds without anyone knowing the facts. But today there were anti-Muir/Lloyds banners all over the ground. If you are organising a protest then i feel you should either been in full control of all banners which would be displayed or else not make the claim that there would be no anti-Muir/Lloyds banners. This is not having a go at you lads, your effort is admirable, it is simply constructive criticism.

  23. Guys, you said repeatedly in this thread and in the press release that the banners would be pro-Rangers and questioning of the club, but absolutely not anti-Muir or Lloyds. Clearly this has not been the case here and i was extremely dissapointed at the content of a few of the banners. Yes, one or two of them may have already been displayed previously but the "Boycott Lloyds bank", "Donald Muir is a traitor" and "Ibrox Under Siege" were all new. The whole point of this was to question the club and seek answers but the banners reeked of folks who already had their mind made up. You have shot yourself in your foot here and lost a lot of credibility in my book.
