Is the decision on the tax case not expected till Feb/Mar (Think i read that somewhere)?? So would that not mean we would keep the squad till the end of the season? Also, if you were the adminastrators and someone offered $4mill for Jelavic, would you not hold out for more as then you could pay off more of the debt?? finally, What happens with the players contracts? Do they get torn up? Otherwise the club might accept $4mill for Whittaker, but if he doesn't agree personal terms would he be able to stay???

Read the article and don't disagree with any of it. Although i have been looking at the team from Saturday and looking at how we lined up. I can't help but notice that we could be pushing to a 3-5-2 formation.... i believe McKay was a late addition and should have had Lafferty up front with Jelavic. so a small push at the midfield and defense and you end up with: ------Goian---Bartley---Bocanegra----- Whittaker----------------------Wallace -------------Edu------Papac----------- -----------------Davis---------------- having Whits and Wallace as wing backs and bombing forward and Edu and Papac holding and covering in front of the defense. Davis is free to push forward and support the front two.... I've always liked a 3-5-2 like this, and think we may have the players to use it.... just my thoughts anyway....

i think we need to stop playing both of them in the same team. I think Davis and Edu in the middle wouldn't look as bad as trying to fit McCulloch in too.....

I have used the Rangers TV Pay-Per-view to stream some of the Old Firm games, and was wondering if there is anyway to record the stream. Living in Australia, makes some of the games at awkward times (especially mid week games). But i was looking at getting a RangersTV Unlimited package, but didn't want to waste a chunk of the season with games i couldn't watch..... any ideas / hints? I have used other streams and they always start ok but buffer and cut out so would rather give the money to the club and get a good service.

ram upgrade shouldn't be too hard, mine has easy access for that. hdd, probably a bit harder and would recommend an external hdd or thumb drive or soemthing.

i think it's more a question of two balanced teams than weakened. what team would you put out for a European game and what would you put of for an OF game? I would keep the defense the same on both: McGregor Whittaker / Weir / Bouggie / Papac the midfield is interesting.... do we go 5 men against Lisbon and 4 against them? I think Ness deserves to be brought back for one of the games, he's played well in all the games i've watched. Bartley seemed to play well against Motherwell, so probably deserves to keep his place..... Upfront less problems with Jela having to drop out against Lisbon but back against the scum. I'd maybe play Healy up with Jela against the scum, as i think he would relish it, and be desperate to do something (plus it would wind them up). Maybe push Diouf up front against Lisbon.... lafferty wide? don't know.....

but what can you do when you offer the contact and they say no? We offered what we could / think they are worth and they turn it down, hardly much anyone can do....

With Ian Ferguson involved with Perth Glory over here in West Australia, I'd hope they play over here in the West. Fingers crossed anyway

Wasn't that against England? Bit before my time but seem to recall my Dad saying it was against England?? I'm not sure how these old boys would have adapted to the game these days?? They may have been more skillful but could they keep up with how fast and fit todays players are??

I probably haven't posted in over a year, yet still continue to read and enjoy the forum. Yes i have an opinion, but on most occasions someone somewhere has posted what i thought and i don't feel the need to write a "I agree" post. Also i live in Australia, and my access to games is restricted. That said i use what you guys say regarding players performance as my guide to who i think should/shouldn't be playing for the club. should i be banned or have my access taken away???

the players we have gotten rid of, how many games did they play last year? Other than Ferguson i don't think any of them racked up many games. If that's the case then getting them off the wage bill is a good things, is it not???
