To be fair he was outstanding that first half season. It could maybe be said he tailed off a wee bit the following full season, before being Scottish Player of the Season the next and in most opinions being well up in the running again last time. We've won the League each of those full seasons and won the Scottish Cup and went on a run to the UEFA Cup Final in the first half season. He's certainly too good for the SPL and much as I hate saying it probably for us (at the minute?) as well. He really does deserve to be showcasing his talents on the highest European stage...but will more than likely finish his career now with the club he loves - so hopefully we'll not have a repeat of this season on that front! :davis:

He's highly rated by Wenger and was Arsenal Reserves captain before going out on the two loan spells this season. Would only be another loan deal, but I'd be happy with that.
