The link for YouTube is in the OP...no need to stay up pissed and trying to watch it at 3.30am.
Save this thread to your favourites - Go to your kip, and tomorrow morning while the missus is setting up breakfast click on the link and enjoy whilst refreshed from your slumbers.
Sunday morning with Tattie scones and bacon on toast garnished with tomato sauce washed down with a hot cuppa during The Rangers playing is most appealing, so that's what I'll be doing.

Bump ok to help GB out...
This fund is basically about us RM members giving that little bit extra to the club, by buying tickers, bricks, etc last year we were able to sponsor 2 first team players (law and Faure) and a couple of the lasses as well - but we have been priced out of the first team players this year - GB then expanded his initiatives to support various extra curricular activities for erskine residents and we ('the sponsors') also chip in to this - it's pretty good fun GB is scrupulously fair and we can all give input and then GB spends the funds the way he wanted to!
    ( nah he listens really!)
It's only £10 suggested membership - sign up now - it's the only set of threads on RM where no one disagrees! ( any dissent and GB frowns - and us mere mortals quiver!)

If the young players are good enough they will start every game, but they're not, with a couple of exceptions. All this talk about not playing the U21's when in Div 3 is bollocks. McCoist's #1 priority is getting back to the top ASAP, and he's doing just that.
The Championship will bring out the best in the team as they'll be up against better opposition. If we fail to get promoted then you can start moaning about McCoist again.
I'd rather get to the top again in 3 years, like we're doing, than play a bunch of inexperienced young guys and risk not getting promoted at all. And I'd bet every Rangers fan feels the same way.

Quite often in Boardroom issues people adopt the line of 'it's the rhebel, just ignore that' or some other line re wild paper speculation or intent to disrupt us, 'lets wait and see what actually happens'. When it comes to McCoist people are more than willing to latch on to a newspaper story and have a pre-emptive moan about him, using the 'if this is true then McCoist is..... ', a sort of weasel like, newspaper 'we can say whatever we like if we say "if this is true" ' get out. Then, of course, the paper often gets it wrong, as in this instance. But hey, we've got our McCoist moan in, so who cares?
Ultimately, it doesn't matter if the story ends up true or not, by having an 'if this is true' rant it adds to the tone of discontent without any genuine reason, other than the acceptance of paper talk.
There's plenty of genuine stuff to argue about re McCoist, but it just sounds like a witch hunt when you club him over the head with speculative paper talk.

Nah. Ally hates Boyd more than he loves Rangers.
They fell out don't you know? Ally chased him from Rangers (total lie).
    Ally doesn't rate him!
3 myths made up by internet muppets who stop at nothing to discredit our manager.
    Shameful behaviour.

Some great goals for killie. Such a clean striker of the ball. No penalties last season all 22 goals from open play? Quite incredible when you consider how bad killie are

Boyd is a goal scorer. Miller is a goal scorer. Clark is a goal scorer. Daly is a goal scorer. Gallagher is emerging as a goal scorer. Stoney is an emerging goal scorer.
Winning promotion out of the Championship at first attempt was always going to be the most difficult of the lower leagues. More so now that Hibs and Hearts are in it. Experienced goal scorers with a track record of handling the pressure at Rangers was always likely to be on the buying agenda to add to the options that can be fielded when it is nil nil with 20 mins to go and a win is needed. A bench with strong credible striking options would - I think - be what any manager wants. So adding Boyd - if he signs - adds to the strking options. Yes Stoney is also an emerging goal scorer (and others in the youth squad too) but I guess that if the top priority by a very very large distance is to win promotion this coming season then the opportunity to add (if affordable) experience and track record of delivery would win out over passing over that opportunity.
We all want back into the top flight asap and back to the very top of it also asap. Striking the balance between relying on experience and introducing emerging top talent will not be an easy job to do. At the end of the day after each game I expect the point will be did we win and is it another 3 points in the bag. Playing better football than we've seen all to often and getting players to perform as individuals and as a team to the best of their talents on a consistent basis will doubtless be a key thing to achieve. But points will be more important and for points you need goal scorers.

What's wrong with the guy who runs our youth set up giving his honest opinion of the lad - that's not holding him back - that's being honest and communication with the fans (Yep - Dammed if we do, dammed if we don't) - but hey ho this is Rangers its much better to just be negative about anything that our coaches say!

I know you struggle with the concept of squad - and I know that every young player we don't play is a Messi in waiting - but Hutton is a decent squad player, with a decent amount of experience and good cover. Last year of our 4 recognised CM players - Hutton was out injured a long spell, as was McLeod - so Law and Black played - this season it might end up being another two with spells out injured, and if not out injured offering competition for places - Hutton offers both competition and is a decent squad member - no real issues in giving him another years deal.

So if Telfer does a bad job - his comments were spot on but his coaching was shit.
So if Telfer does a good job - his comments were shit but his coaching was spot on.
Now if Telfer is a bit player next year but comes good the year after then Sinclair was spot on with his coaching and his comments but then the club / Ally were fools for not offering him a huge salary to stay.
(... ye canny win as a Rangers coach - that's the rule).

Ach yer right - everything we do is wrong!! - we sign someone, we could have done better; if we sign someone, we should have got them cheaper; if we let someone go, we should have kept them; if they are on loan, we should be playing them in our first team; if Ally wears brogues, he should have on black shoes, if Ally wears a track suit, he should wear a proper suit; If we play youth we should let them go after three games cause there not Rangers class; if we play someone on the right, they should have started on the left; if our youths do well in the league they should have won it; if they win a cup, they should have won it in regulation time; because our youths won a cup they should all be first teams choices; if we have recognised top class coaches, we should belittle them; and on and on and on and on ad infinitum!

Look at the abuse Fraser Aird has received on here this season... who can blame him if he goes?

I got a call from Co Armagh RSCs today passing on the unfortunate news that 'Tom', one of their loyal wheelchair-bound supporters has had a nasty fall, and broken a leg and will not be able to attend the Final.
That's terrible news, and we wish Tom all the best and hope that he recovers quickly enough to make the next final, which hopefully won't be far away.
Tom was keen to make sure his ticket (and the ticket for an accompanying carer) went to good use, so he has asked us to pass them on to someone who could make use of them.
So I called Erskine and now "Wee Jimmy" (I think he's 96, but I'd need to check), described universally as "he's Rangers Daft!" will be attending his first Rangers final in quite a few years - and he'll be able to wear the stuff he bought on his Ibrox day out in January.
(Erskine Staff can fight amongst themselves over who gets to go with him), and Co Armagh RSCs will also have some gift bags for them both, so a great day out is assured.
So a speedy recovery to Tom and thanks to him and Co. Armagh RSCs for always thinking of others, even when they've got their own problems to deal with.
