This is typical Toronto FC fan BS. TFC fans pretty much think every player on TFC is crap, shouldn't be playing for them and will never be able to play in eurpope. Edu is on a terrible team; their best forward player is a 17 year old who has only played a handful of professional games. Nobody on that team has been good in the two seasons of TFCs existence. However, when you watch Edu with the US national team or even in the olympics where he played CB, you can tell he has what it takes to play in europe. He is only 22 and at 2.5m he is going to be a steal. He is nowhere near being completely refined. People forget he spent a few seasons playing for Maryland in college, which also hindered his development. Don't expect much from him this season. He's got a good attitude and is said to be an extremely hard worker. I'd say after a season of learning the ropes, he could be a solid box to box mid next year.
