  1. Yes what's the harm in it? Nothing to get annoyed about. Fine if you don't care but why start telling him to "F off" or "get back down the road" or say his music is pish.
  2. Yeah some of the responses on this forum are pathetic Forum has gone downhill
  3. So he thinks he'll have earned more by staying at Rangers? Whyte renewed his contract didn't he when it wasn't close to running out? At the time the rumours were that it was a bumper rise... probably because Whyte knew he wouldn't really have to pay it. Seems to me like it was either him tweeting or his burd from his phone. If there is something to explain, he should just say. Not like he tuped over and could be silenced due to a pay off. For me he walked away so he could be a free agent and get a better signing on fee, not a true fan as he always suggested in my opinion. Took advantage of our situation to line his pockets.
  4. Yep he hasn't given a fuck about Rangers since he left, fuck the shite bag.
  5. Not sure what to believe, some folk on twitter suggesting this £20m is just spin. One journalist: @martingrantross: 'News' of £20m 10-yr TV deal in China for SPFL is nonsense.Wires crossed/PR spin.Fee refers to selected international rights. RT if you care @martingrantross: #SPFL deal was done in China for 2013-14 with PPTV, but fee will be nominal. Hard market for rights holders to get any kind of fee @martingrantross: @pieandbov it's complete nonsense. Press release was wrong. Deal done for 2013-14 with PPTV in China. Fee will be tiny
  6. Faces no inconvenience? How would you know? There will always be instances of fans losing out... but for the opening post to suggest fans in General were being shafted is a gross exaggeration. Fact is, it's a semi final weekend so with experience there is always a likelihood the game will be moved. For the entire season the Rangers website has shown the Ayr fixture alongside a Scottish cup semi-final "fixture".
  7. Nonsense. Plenty notice and we'll get rental income for the semi-finals. We always know games are likely get moved at that stage in the season.... we could even be in the semi-final ourselves and the game would be moved anyway.
  8. Adam Owen is on the backroom staff as well, I assume he'll be staying on just now
  9. Yeah but the 440% is annualised and a fair representation. But don't let that get in the way. If this is true it's an absolute disgrace.
  10. Nice, 8 mins in he talks about Rangers. Pretty positive about it all. Had missed it posted a few months back then
  11. Poor player for Rangers, especially given his transfer fee. Had a few good spells towards the end of seasons but never did it consistently. I think the "useless" comment is being taken out of context here. Don't think the chairman is saying he is a useless footballer but saying until his fitness improves he will be of no use to the team.
  12. That's a disgrace, no matter what we think of players playing for Rangers it's a frigging disgrace to go up to them and abuse them. Unbelievable
  13. Unless you are looking to be offended, them calling someone a ginger wank could easily be interpreted as much a daft jibe as commenting on Kal's performance. Why did the guy have to make a jibe about Kal directly to Kal on twitter? Daft ginger wank IMO
  14. Yeah exactly and the abuse dished out really annoys me. Fair enough, have an opinion about a player but do you have to go to them directly? It may impact on their confidence and ultimately they may think the fans dishing out abuse are representative of the fans base.
  15. Yeah but the guy just made a jibe out of the blue... Kal is entitled to tell him he's a ginger wank... unless you are looking to be upset, that could easily be treated as a jibe as well.
  16. To be fair to Kal you really should provide some context The ginger bloke tweeted Kal asking if he was going to win the award for ability to fire a shot into the Copland Rear. Yes a bit of banter but the amount of abuse players get a twitter the reaction from Kal is only to be expected. In fact good on him for giving some stick back! If the bloke can dish some banter out, he should be able to handle some abuse back.
  17. Yes, subject to health, finance, relocation etc then we should be looking to renew as soon as we can.
  18. I sold mine around new year as I wanted Rangers to get my £500 but i needed the cash. Easy to invest and then sell. Sold my shares for £500 and still have over 100 shares left... result.
  19. Big news hardly. Just that Motherwell expect to vote for the reconstruction next week. And mentioned that Ross County vote is up in the air as many clubs will be contacting them...
  20. Well hopefully Motherwell play on the Saturday and drop points. Rather they win it whilst not playing.
  21. Agreed, it's very unlikely but possibly the only way that he might be able to stay. However a wage cut whilst extending contract by another year might work. Some think he's past it, but I disagree and think he would bring great experience and control to our back four.
  22. I don't think he will and it may be that we then try to ship him out for his final year of contract. Don't have a problem with him not taking a paycut if that is his position. However in an ideal world if he really wanted to stay, a 50% paycut but a further years contract might suit both parties. Basically getting his final years wages across 2 years.... wishful thinking!
  23. Not sure if you missed his tweet but before he replied to you he tweeted the quote from Patey: @GrahamSpiers: N Patey:“Technically its a new club - it couldn’t be sold as a going concern, its assets were sold off. But in spirit its the same Rangers.” As Chris Graham said, it's the context of the quote that's important. He could have been referring to the legal entity in that quote or he may simply have changed his mind based on FACT!
