Please tell me he didn't just say that! He can't be gentle with this squad. We need passion and if even the manager can't bring it what chance have we got. -

It's really depressing when you look at the complete lack of quality and winning mentality throughout the squad. Anyone half decent just keep getting injured yet the useless ones are fit for pretty much every game. -

I agree. We can't judge Clement until he gets his own players in. If it's still the same losers next season he will get sacked just like everyone else who has trusted them. -

Full rebuild required and I'm so fed up with these losers that I would play the reserves except they keep losing as well! -

Another ridiculously poor half of football. What's happened to the players? There is no passion or desire to do anything. -

When you look at the team it can be depressing to see how few options we have. We really need players back from injury but for next season the defence needs a complete rebuild. Clement has been working miracles with what he has but we need much better for next season. Still hopefully an easy win today would be much appreciated after the weekend. -
We are cursed at all levels!

It's obvious that Souttar and Goldson can't play together. So bring in Balogun who was playing well. Right now I would even trust King ahead of either Goldson or Souttar who seem incapable of winning any tackles or headers. In midfield what is the point of Dowell?! He offers nothing going forward or back. Surely Raskin deserves more of a chance. Lundstram has looked poor in ages and incapable of adding energy, control or even pass the ball, so why not play Sterling there who has looked good every time he plays. -
He puts so many passes behind the player or on their wrong foot killing any momentum.
-
Him and Souttar just don't work as a defensive partnership.

The manager definitely deserves part of the blame today. He watched that first half and made no changes. He watched them score the first and still left Lundstram and Dowell in midfield failing to provide any cover for the defence. He also watched Tav having a nightmare and the Souttar/Goldson partnership struggle for ages now and continued with it. -

Right now we could probably create a team of free transfers and players on loan who could do a better job then some of our "best" players. The sooner guys like Tav, Goldson, Dessers, Dowell, Lundstram and Barisic leave the better. -
Tav is definitely declining as a player. He doesn't have the engine anymore and his passing has been horrific recently. He still gets goals but other than that the rest of his game make him a liability right now.

TBH half the team deserved to be off at HT. Especially Tav who had a nightmare and both Lundstram and Dowell in midfield who were never in the right position and lacked any urgency at all. -

We were hopeless today. We can never win the league when we've got guys like Dessers as our main forward. Also Tav, Goldson, Lundstram, etc have had their time and need to move on now. -
I don't want either Dessers or Shankland playing for us next season. I have faith that Clement will find someone much better than both of them. Someone who combines the work rate of Dessers with the goals of Shankland and hopefully can also link up with his teammates better than both of them.

Just hoping we can get an early goal tomorrow to settle the players and open up the game. Then if we can get 2 or 3 goals up we can rotate the squad a bit and give a rest to the guys who have been playing every game recently. -
This is exactly the way I see it. Definitely not the best outcome but under the circumstances it should give the squad more breathing space. Hopefully boosting our chances in the league and Scottish Cup. A treble would ease the pain of going out of Europe.

He played really well, especially considering he's not had a regular left winger in front of him all season and he's constantly having to adjust to different playing styles.

There were no real options on the bench due to injuries. It's why we had a not fully fit Cantwell and Roofe have to come off the bench. If we had a fully fit squad there's no chance we would've started with that line up but can't blame the manager. He's doing an amazing job in the circumstances. -

Hard to complain about the result considering the players we have missing. We tried hard but lacked quality up front. Hopefully we now win the league with no European distraction and come back stronger in Europe next season! -
Despite all the fears that he would be targeted due to his height or that he isn't suited to Scottish football, he's played brilliantly in defence and attack. Glad we kept him, he's only going to get better as well with such a great manager helping him.

Great performances throughout the team but I think a special shout out for Ridvan who many would've been happy to see leave in the winter window for being too short for Scottish football. He now looks brilliant both going forward and in defence.- 1,556 replies

This is all due to Clement. He's made players who were looking like a lost cause believe in themselves and are now playing better than any of us could have imagined!- 1,556 replies
