I may look foolish for this in the end up (happens a lot) but we’d have been as well sticking than twisting gio for Beale. This is a sideways move for me by the club should they choose to go down the route of Beale 

Funnily enough, I see that as the opposite.
If there were serious discussions going on, I think they would have been much more discreet.
I know that the general opinion of our board isn’t up to much but they must have anticipated how that would look, especially if Gio was running out of road.
Like many, I was keen on Beale but, for some reason now that it’s looking more and more possible, I find I’m going right off the idea.

If Beale comes in we’ll have spent 5 million quid to end up with a guy who was 1st team coach when he left last year as our manager.

Beale posting videos of his holiday on his Instagram and cunts in the comments saying “get back up the road”, “Rangers are waiting for you” and the like are tragic as fuck. The sort of thing you would expect a 14 year old to do, not fully grown adults.

There are no positives to Beale for me. If it is Beale we're doing this whole dance again this time next year.

I’d be surprised if it was Beale. It would take a lot of bridge building between him & the board given the way things ended last year.

Beale would be an awful choice

I don’t think that’s the problem. Hard to beat I presume you mean conceding fewer goals. 
 
We’ve only conceded one more goal than celtic. Excluding the old firm we’ve conceded 3 less.
The problem is they’ve scored 16 more than us. 
 
4 out of the 5 games we’ve dropped points we’ve only scored one goal.
We aren’t doing badly domestically at the back considering the injuries we have. The problem is the other end. We look clueless how to unlock teams with 10 men behind the ball.
Only natural that people will gravitate towards a manager who has a track record of attacking teams scoring goals. Like they got with Ange. In every season in Japan they were top 2 in scoring. Even when they weren’t top half
So that was a deliberate choice to attract an attacking manager. 
 
Hiring a manager who made his success on conceding few and scoring few is rightly seen as a risk.
