  1. Excellent. I'll get some respite from all the miserable cunts on here :)
  2. Fuck it. It's been a while, so here goes (to the tune of The Day We Caught the Train by Ocean Colour Scene) Stepping through the door like a troubadour Now that Michael Beale's away Looked at all the shite from the pitchside Then changed our fucking style of play He clearly wants to win the most And wind up all those mhanky cunts just miles away From our slumber, he can do no wrong Phil Clement's made The Rangers great again Oh-oh la-la Oh-oh la-la Oh-oh la-la Oh-oh la.........
  3. That’s probably the best post on the guy. Sums him up (and his contribution) to a tee.
  4. I just think no matter what he does folk are going to have a go at him. Was on a hatrick last night and folk whining cause he hit the post shortly after his first goal. Folk have been complaining on here that he was too nice a guy and always smiling then I read on the match thread last night that he’s now ‘always moaning’. Cannae win.
  5. ‘Aye but he’s still shite’ 🤣 If Dessers scored the ‘sitters’ folk continually harp on about on here, his stats under Clement would be absolutely insane. Guy needs to be given some credit. Yes, he can blow hot and cold and can spurn easiest chances but some of the goals he’s scored have been exceptionally well crafted.
  6. Rangers tv not working for me....is it a problem for others tonight?
  7. Was only joking. Amazing what you can find on Google 🤣
  8. This poem is made up of four lines in an xAxA rhyme scheme. Each line is two metrical feet, a trochee and iamb, a combination sometimes called a choriamb. Line 4 is sometimes an exception, like the case of “and so are you” which is two iambs. But no matter the meter of the first part of line 4, it is sure to end on an iamb like the preceding lines……. So it’s better to finish with ‘And Tommy did too.’ 🤣🤣🤣
  9. So we’ve not got an imposing centre forward so let’s just keep whipping in high crosses from the full backs.
  10. ‘fight our corner’ 🤣🤣🤣 We’re fucked as a club if we need a pundit (or three) ‘fighting our corner’. I’m sure we’d still survive if Boyd suddenly decided to pack in the Sky TV gig Defending the club is the responsibility of the manager, players, CEO and chairman: not some fud in the media courting celebrity and admiration from fans by greetin’ about a penalty that shouldn’t have been given to our rivals the week before.
  11. I’d depends on your viewpoint. I’ve heard McCoist, McCann, Miller, McInnes and Souness all ‘fight our corner’ on certain issues. Now, whether they are as clear and obvious as Boyd (or as vociferous as many on here would like), is a matter of interpretation: but Boyd is not the only one, he just happens to be the most prominent as he’s the one that gets wheeled out on Sky’s Scottish football coverage. Let’s be honest, Boyd is the Rangers equivalent of Sutton. A confrontational wind up merchant who is making a living on TV because he’s entertaining, provides a bit of controversy and polarises opinion. The fact he’s a Rangers fan and views incidents in a similar vein as us fans makes him more likeable. I’m sure Sutton is well regarded in celtic circles.
  12. No, not particularly. But I don’t want overtly pro Rangers pundits (or pro celtic pundits). I want neutral unbiased views on games.
  13. What’s wrong with a neutral view? Why would i want an evidently partisan pundit spouting the same shite for Rangers as Sutton does for celtic? Is it the ‘two wrongs make a right’ syndrome?
  14. The only one sadly…..bar Ally McCoist, Kenny Miller, Shelley Kerr, Graeme Souness, Neil McCann, Derek McInnes, Leanne Crichton, Derek Ferguson & Stephen Thompson. I’ve left Barry Ferguson off the list as he polarises views too much on here but he’s clearly a Rangers man. Including Boyd (and excluding Barry), there’s 10 current pundits/commentators/hosts on mainstream TV and media (that I can think of off the top of my head) with links/leanings towards Rangers, so it’s not just Boyd v countless Tims: he just happens to be the one who most aligns with your views.
  15. Maybe he’s just sick of folk whining about decisions that go against the team, and all the negative energy that comes with it when he prefers to focus on the positives.
  16. In your opinion. He's 'adequate' in mine.
  17. It DOES sound like much. Its a MUCH better strike rate and it works out at a lot more goals, especially if you play a lot more minutes (656mins to be exact) hence 21 vs 12 goals. Its likely Dessert would be on 16 goals had he played the same amount of time as Shankland (incidentally 3 of Shankland's goals have been from the spot to Dessers sole penalty). Factor in Tav's our penalty taker, then on a like for like basis their goals tally from open play is likely to be Shankland 18 v's Dessers 15 (ie nowhere near 'double the goals'). Im not saying Dessers is great, never have. He's just not shite.
  18. He might well have been phenomenal. It’s just you happened to mention him injuring two players and stamping on an other rather him scoring a goal. I assumed these incident were mentioned as proof of his brilliance in the absence of any goals.
  19. Not really interested in my striker maiming opponents. Did he score in that game?
  20. OK, what about the last three years when Morelos was older and playing in what could be considered a much improved team where he was a well established first team member? Granted Morels had a rate of 123 and 114 in his 2nd and 3rd seasons but outwith these purple patches.....22/23 197gpm, 21/22 182gpm 20.21 198gpm! All of which are less than Dessers current 173gpm strike rate. Also, our team was a shambles under Beale so the first 13 games this season are tainted by that clown's mis-management. There are plenty on here who heralded Morelos as the best striker we've had in 15/20 years who are just as quick to tell us at every opportunity how shite Dessers is.
