I'm not fishing - they are essentially the same. Go to work, pay taxes, get married, have children, drink in pubs/clubs, drive cars, contribute to society, support their team and have the same innacurate stereotypes about the other side.

Being a Rangers fan is not enough to join a Rangers forum? One that purports itself to be the self-proclaimed defender of the support?

You only need to glance through this thread to see that people are alienated by it.

I told you, I have no interest in defending Dingwall. I would say that it's more than a little contradictory for VB to proclaim themselves to be defenders of traditions and the support and then, in the same post, attempt a character assassination of one of our own.
There are things included in the original post that VB can rightly be proud of and things than no-one, least of all me, can do anything but praise and congratulate VB for. The quasi-political and religious undertones do nothing but alienate the very large (and it's larger than some people might care to admit) section of the support who have no interest in such things and see Rangers as a football club. If VB really are the defenders of all Rangers fans then surely alienating such a large section of the support makes no sense?

What is this post supposed to be if it's not snide and unnecessary baiting of Rangers fans or, indeed, a cheap dig?
On the original post, the good things the VB have done are very impressive. The quasi-political and religious undertones detract from that good work, as does the unnecessary snide dig at Dingwall and Follow Follow.

What a load of nonsense, pre-season is about gaining match sharpness for the coming season, and to experiment with formations and players. People moan about us being too one dimensional with no plan B and then moan when we try something different in friendlies.

So many questions... Without the proper punctuation... Here's a few more as correct examples...
Are you ever to be seen on a match thread when we win? Do you ever post positive stories in the Bears Den?
Or are you just a sinister, sniveling, little lurker who takes delight in trying to stir shite...?

We've had 2 good perfromances and results and 2 bad performances and results seemingly with different formations each time. Which one am I supposed to read into most?
I just can't bring myself to care about results in pre-season games. They mean nothing, they are glorified training exercises.
The last time we won the SPL we had a horrendous pre-season - then went on and won the double and got to the last 16 of the Europa League. Nothing can be determined in these games, whether it's beating Fulham or losing to some yank mob.

They won't be, of course, but they should be.

Some people on here would rather we fail to prove their point than us succeeding and proving them wrong.

Quite often in Boardroom issues people adopt the line of 'it's the rhebel, just ignore that' or some other line re wild paper speculation or intent to disrupt us, 'lets wait and see what actually happens'. When it comes to McCoist people are more than willing to latch on to a newspaper story and have a pre-emptive moan about him, using the 'if this is true then McCoist is..... ', a sort of weasel like, newspaper 'we can say whatever we like if we say "if this is true" ' get out. Then, of course, the paper often gets it wrong, as in this instance. But hey, we've got our McCoist moan in, so who cares?
Ultimately, it doesn't matter if the story ends up true or not, by having an 'if this is true' rant it adds to the tone of discontent without any genuine reason, other than the acceptance of paper talk.
There's plenty of genuine stuff to argue about re McCoist, but it just sounds like a witch hunt when you club him over the head with speculative paper talk.

In my opinion I think we're going to have a great season, I also believe that our squad is as strong as its been for three seasons. Don't understand why anyone that supports Rangers can't feel good about our recent signings.
All this merde about playing youngsters and galactico style football whilst plying our trade in Scottish footballs lower leagues is the stuff of fantasy, our only goal was, is to get back through the leagues as quickly as possible.
In our first season in the bottom league we had over 100+ yellow cards and 20+ red cards awarded to opposition teams when playing against Rangers, does anyone really think that its going to be any different this season in the Scottish 1st division FFS, or a team of youngsters playing silky football would be able to cope with that level of physical punishment throughout an entire season!
If KB and KM provide the catalyst that gets us back to the top tier then so be it, just ask yourself this one question, would any of the other teams in our league and the SPFL outwith the dhims have signed them both, I think we all know the answer!
There's a mountain of shite spewed out about our club on a daily basis from people whose only life ambition is to see the death of our club and the continued humiliation of our manager, why any true supporter of our club would give these chunts continued oxygen beats the FCUK out of me.
Our turnover last year was circa 16 million, as a club we need at least 45/50 million to survive and thrive, were not going to get it playing lower league football and the sooner we get back to the top league the better.
Welcome back Boydy, gone smash in the goals and get Ibrox rocking!

I don't think you can criticise anyone for being excited about this, there has been fuck all worth getting excited about for 3 years.
I'm happy we can still attract players like this, especially when the likes of Aberdeen and others were in for him. All about money or not.

Way to suck the joy out a thread. GG
Considering some of the players signed the last few seasons, and what can all but be counted on from this one. Was it really necessary to go there?
I'm happy to see some bears excited and happier about the coming season mate.
Short term contract on wages within the structure. I can live with this and be happier that those in the stands will get better payback
