  1. Good. Stick to the line we agreed at The Lodge meeting. That made me chuckle.
  2. No idea how you can say it was not an act of revenge. He was certainly not going into cause a serious injury such as a leg break (he's just not that type of player imo) but he definately went in to get the StMirren player back. I've looked at the reply a number of times now and thomsons definatly focussed on the ball and is only fractions away from getting it. If I was going out to get revenge I would be focussing on tha player not the ball. I'm still sticking with my opinion that it was a strong challange from the side, not two footed and no studs showing and was only marginally late. For me its a yellow at worst.
  3. Wilson was sent off for denying a goal scoring opportunity, not for being last man! the last man rule doesn't exist anymore. It's all about the denial of a clear goalscoring opportunity. Okay I didnt realise that. It was just in one or two reports I read (The sun and sportinglife if I remember correctly).
  4. Hutton + Burke for me. Should never have let them go in the first place. Also needs to ensure that Boyd stays.
  5. Thommo went in for a hard challange from the side. It wasnt two footed and no studs were showing. Additionally he made an attempt to get the ball and was only fractions away from making contact with the ball. For me there was no way it should have been a red. Also for Wilsons red card, Weir was in the middle providing some cover so I cant believe Wilson was deemed to be the last man.
  6. We need to go all out for the win, none of this 4-5-1 pi**. Going for draws is one of the reasons that cost us the league 2 years ago.
  7. I would'nt mind that to much, as long as Lafferty isnt anywhere near the team. The defence seems more solid with Broadfoot at RB and Whitikers getting goals from LM or RB. Personally I'd have Novo at LM with Beasley at RM with Mcculloch and Davis in the middle. Then we would always have Whitiker to come on if Novo or Beasley werent performing.
  8. Yes I'm worried, but then again I am always worried before an old firm game. I would be far more worried if the shoe was on the other foot and we were potentially 10 points behind. If we win though I would then say the leagues over with. Also its usually when I see Walt dodgy tactics just prior to the game that I really start sh***** it. No matter how well we have been playing in previous games he always goes and changes it.
  9. Sky Sports 1 coverage starts at 7:30pm with the kickoff at 7:45pm.
  10. Should never have been a card. I thought he clearly played the ball(s) first.
  11. I would assume that we will make an operating loss over the next 6 months since the champions league money is taken into account in the previous 6 months, not to mention season ticket revenue.
  12. Actually credit where credits due, I thought he had a very good second half today. Looked a totally different player. Lets hope he keeps that level up.
  13. I was there, although I cant remember to much about it now. It was the reserve team that was up and I can remember Pressley playing.
  14. He should'nt be anywhere near the pitch (no matter what position). He looks slightly less worse hiding out on the wing than upfront, but the fact of the matter is how the hell did we spend close to £4 mil on someone who cant even control a ball.
  15. Thats hilarious!!!! The guy is a total muppet! The rugby pitch I used to train on was 10 times better condition than that (and I used to think it was a mud bath).
  16. Would struggle to score goals m8. Haha yeah pressed enter to go down to a new line (so I could add the strikers) and it bloody submitted the post. I tried to edit it quickly before anyone had a chance to reply but I was to late.
  17. weir, mcculloch, papac and broadfoot x 100 I thought broadfoot was soild at RB, it was the left side with Papac and Whittaker that they were causing us problems.
  18. I would have gone with: :mcgregor: :boyd: :miller: I have a bad feeling about the game tonight and also the hibs game.
  19. “It is a very old, established Scottish business. It would have no doubt gone to somebody from outside who may have run the business down." Sounds familiar anyone!
  20. The best contribution Lafferty can give to the team is to leave ASAP. He is one of the worst football players I have ever seen and is certainly the worst rangers player in recent times. He contributes nothing to the team and for those who hope he might come good, there is absoloutly no chance. He cant control the ball, hes poor in the air, his passing is below average and his decision making is woefull. Our scouts should be lined up against a wall and shot. If we were to try and sell him in the summer we would be lucky if we could get 500k for him. A truelly shocking signing.
  21. That's probably better than our current line up .
  22. I'm airing on the side of caution. After what happened 2 years ago! I am certainly less optomistic after the recent transfer activity than I was prior. Celtic have certainly brought in some quality signings whilst we have lost a key player in Mendes. I feel that due to the lack of depth and quality in our squad it is inevitable that we will drop points during the run in, especially if we get injuries to key players such as Davis, Boyd and Miller. I am pretty sure we will soon be facing a scenario were our lead will be getting whittled down. I only hope that the lead that we have at the moment will be enough. The outlook for next season looks pretty poor with the potential of losing key players such as Bougie and Boyd, not to mention the current management team.
  23. Sorry but he really is one of the worst footballers I have ever seen. Its unbelievable to think we actually wasted 3.75 Mil on this guy. He lacks even the most basic footballing skills. I would try and punt him this transfer window but unfortunatly I can see anyone actually taking him (even on a free).
