I thought Lundstram settled into the game in the second half.

He looked out of sorts in the first half and people will remember that horrible pass, but he improved slightly.

However, his wages appear too high for what we get with a new contract.

Sterling should be in beside Diomande next season.

Point I'm trying to make is I'm not sure we are picking up many more points than last season the difference is celtic

I would say the points total is around the norm for most seasons just that the tarriers had a better than average points total under Postecoglu.

To be fair we all know its bullshit but he has to come out with something. He cant really come and say "aye, we fucked it, we shat it yet again under pressure. Sorry for that, but aye, league looks done".  Even though the team, the fans, the management etc pretty much know its the case. Your better actually just ignoring these pressers.

Don’t pay much attention to them tbh. A lot of cliche, generic replies to questions most of the time. More interested on fitness of players, who’s back etc.

It's not brilliant, it's fuckin obvious.

Sterling doesn't have a regular position in the team. He filled in as LB, midfield or even on the wing. But he's not first pick for any of those positions.

He’s not dropping the captain at this stage of the season just not happening. Any big changes will/may be in the summer.

Flip flopping between come on to fuck it’s doable, and there’s no fucking chance.

    There’s always a chance. Well that’s what I keeping telling myself 😁

Look at that squad of players and look at yesterday - Ross County could have scored 5 or 6 goals. I wouldn’t put it past this lot to have our season finished by full time on Sunday - if Hearts have any sense they’ll go at us and get a couple of goals.
On paper we are still in it but we certainly don’t have a big chance.

    We are rank rotten

I hope Hearts do go at us tbh. We’ve always been better with that scenario. What I hope they don’t do is sit in more with pace up top to transition quickly as we’re so open at the back they’ll get joy.

Think looking at Clements face at the end yesterday it’s dawned on him the enormity of the job he’s taken on.

Big job on his hands for sure. Winning the league makes the process a lot easier off course but if we come up short him and his team are going to have to pull several rabbits out the hat to make us competitive against the tarriers next season.

I hope they will try to make us more solid as a team. Get the back line right first and foremost and be difficult to beat. Take it from there 🙏🙏

    Transfermarkt has

    Tav 4,500

    McGregor 3,100

    O’Riley 3,700

    Maeda 2,400

    Johnston 2,900

    Taylor 3,300

The rest of their squad is all pretty heavily rotated.

Tav, Lundstrum and Goldson all over 4,000 minutes.

Not denying their mentality is shite. But don’t think it’s just mentality. Their levels have fallen off a cliff

I agree with your point fatigue and minutes played with certain players. It is a small factor amongst several others tbh. Within the first 10 mins I thought fuck here we go again we were flat as fuck. We simply can’t start games with so little composure, intent and dropping runners and expect to win football matches.

First off a well deserved win for County who in the main over the last few years have on numerous occasions given Rangers a game they showed more guts and determination to win simple passes that split defences and do the right thing in the basics of the game simply because they have survival on their mind Irrespective of how many games remain they did more than meet the challenge in front of them.

As for Rangers that was a pathetic performance from start to finish despite all the side issues the last fortnight they  were tasked with one aim get the 3 pts and move onto Wednesday and once again they've failed through their own ineptitude .

The gameplan again is suspect as is the toleration of slack passing, woeful marking and a ridiculously  disjointed performance not just today or last week its been there for a good number of weeks that's on players and management collectively for me .

We've had options in more than the last three games but the starting line ups and performance have been ineffective and rubbish in just about every way today like last week was another case of trying to get back into a game after the damage is done through basic errors .

I saw no improvement after last weeks abysmal start in gifting two goals away, todays was even more ridiculous given that County had nowhere near as much pressure on our players it was the same level of ineptitude as last week but even more today given the contrast in performance at each goal that aspect alone needs seriously addressed.

Its a stick on teams will target the weak spots of our team that have been allowed to go unchecked making  us an easy target !

Even still they don't realise how fucking weak that makes them that they are being exposed week in week out now and a title on the line they couldn't even begin to demonstrate a desire to get it over the line as the attitude to the task in front of them is not only looking beyond them they don't even begin to realise how fucking ordinary they look in the basics of a simple game .

I'd be fucking surprised if they begin to turn this shitshow around they've only themselves to blame for dropping further out the contention stakes.

County’s Murray said it post match we can be more than decent going forward but they just had to pick their moments in transition as we were wide open at the back. Build from the back for next season has to be the priority.
