Never a big fan of hype horses like Brighterdaysahead. Elliotts stable form at the minute is also shite.
I'll be on Jade De Grugy.

Quite a few issues to be honest.
The schedule needs totally scrapped and redone imo. There is far to many meetings which is effecting prize money and sponsorship.
In Britain, trainers are also very reluctant to put their best horses against one another until the week of Cheltenham. This wasn't the case say 10-15 years ago. This is leading to big races having field sizes of 3 or 4. This is also putting people off attending race courses.
Affordability checks are also beginning to cause problems for punters and prospective new owners. I think this will only get worse in all honesty.

There is arguments for and against both horses to be honest.
Embassy Gardens blew up last year at Cheltenham but has looked impressive this year, his jumping especially.
Corbetts Cross had his own problems at Cheltenham last year when he ran into the railings at the last hurdle. His jumping has been a bit suspect at times this year but has a really good chance if he jumps well. He is a bit quirky but the trainer is top class to be fair so I'd imagine he will have him spot on for this.
I picked Embassy Gardens as he tends to make ground at his fences rather than lost ground. Something Corbetts Cross has been at risk of in the past.

I don't follow flat racing but I believe there is similar issues but couldn't confirm 100%.

British racing is a bit of a shambles at the minute tbh and does need fixing.

Certainly one of the more difficult ones but our record against Portugese teams is excellent.

Miles ahead of Raskin by the look of things.

Their sense of entitlement astounds me. Lawwell has overseen the most successful period in their history and have kept us at arms length in every season since 2015 bar 1. Have they not picked up over 20 trophies since 2015 as well?
We’re 5 points behind them as well and they’ve won the last 2 old firms. Whatever strategy they’ve had has clearly worked, so I’m a bit wary of them. It does feel like there is a tide turning, but hopefully it turns into actual sustained success.

Would've took the Greek boy the tarriers had couple seasons ago. Atlanta couldn't have paid that much for him.

That could have been said about Colak, Sakala, Morelos, even Itten (had he been given more of a chance).
Its the fee paid which is the issue for most on here, when it comes to assessing Dessers: it colours folk's judgment slightly. And Dessers wasn't in control of the transfer fee.
Doesn't really matter if he's seen as hopeless (i personally don't hold that view). If he's on course for scoring 19 goals and 12 assists in his debut season (1/5th of which would have been played under the Beale disaster) then that's a pretty good return and places him on a par with most of the non-hopeless strikers we've had over the years.
He's also mentally robust if he can play with a smile on his face/score whilst getting roasted off the fans most of the time, which is exactly the type of character we need in the dressing room as opposed to someone taking the huff or completely disappearing on the pitch. For all his faults, he gets back on the horse straight away every single time he falls off it.
Based on what i've seen of Silva so far, I'd rather have Dessers leading the line.
I dont think it helps that him and Lammers were brought in for decent money around the same in the same window for broadly the same fee. Both under performing at the start led to the 'they're both shite' narrative and, by association, when one played poorly they both got it in the neck on social media. ie 'Lammers was shite again, him and Dessers are pish' when Dessers has actually played well.
Anyway, just me thoughts on the matter.

Get thru St Mirren on Saturday then 5 of the next 7 league games are at home. A chance to put them under the kosh big style

Professional golf is becoming a bit of a joke to be honest and I'm fast losing interest.
You can obviously see why Rahm has done it. 500 - 600m dollars to effectively work less and he will be fine for the majors as he won the Masters last year.

ShanksRFC got a reaction from BlueAvenger in Roofe
Roofe is massively overrated by some on here, apart from his goal last week what has he done this year? Scored at Dingwall but I honestly can't remeber anything else. His best days are miles behind him.
We are nearly half way through the season and I'd honestly doubt we see him in a Rangers top again.
