Welcome to Rangers, Philippe Clement!
TheMightyGer replied to Bronzy's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Would love to know what's happening behind the scenes.. feel like something must have happened. Really don't understand how our form has collapsed so quickly. It feels like the players have just stopped playing for the manager but I can't figure out why. -

Those not happy with Lawrence who would you want instead? Dowell or Raskin would be worse imo -

After the shambles on Sunday anything less than going out and absolutely annihilating these cunts tonight isn't good enough. -
First of all we need to go out and convincingly beat Dundee. And I want to see a performance from the players in that game. If they come out with the same half arsed attitude as yesterday then even if we win it tells me there's no chance we're winning the league sadly.

I'm glad we put out something. I expect that our statement is as much about putting pressure on the officials going forward as it is about highlighting todays incident. They should know they need to think twice next time before just deciding against us on a whim. The tims have been doing this shit for years about time we did too.

I think we need Hagi back in Jan
TheMightyGer replied to WestCoastGer's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Given the amount of injuries we have at the moment it makes sense to recall our loan players (if possible) and let Phil get a proper look at them. Surely Hagi is a better option for us than Lammers. -
Welcome to Rangers, Philippe Clement!

Happy with this. Out of the realistic options available to us he was clearly the best one so not sure any of us can have any complaints. That obviously still doesn't mean he's guaranteed to do well but we've given ourselves the best chance! -
By some distance as well I think

The Dublin Loyal pretty much only exists in the form of a whatsapp group these days lol. In terms of watching a game the woolshed on Parnell St would probably be the safest place, Aussie bar with loads of screens.

Would rather play Europa league tbh and have a chance of being competitive. Unfortunately the fact is if we're going to compete with the scum financially we need CL.

Fitness of the Saudi players really puts our own squad to shame

Must be something to it.. 29 minutes injury time in the England game. 14 minutes on the Holland game 16 minutes in the Wales game

Next Manager Discussion Thread
TheMightyGer replied to superallysbears's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Tbh none of the names mentioned here make me think 'Yeah that's the guy to get us back on track '. We just have to hope for the best. In my opinion the main thing is to get someone in who can have us playing good attacking football domestically, but adaptable enough to change it up when in Europe. They also need to get the players fitness back up to scratch ASAP. -
Sad that it didn't work out for him but ultimately the results against Livi, St Johnstone & St Mirren are what done him in. Even with our horrific injury list we should be winning those.

Fucking hell there are some miserable cunts on here Personally I can't wait to have Hagi back fit again, he offers something completely different to any other player we have. Sure it doesn't always come off but the possibility of a wee bit of magic is always there which is exciting and means there's hope when we're struggling to break down a team with 10 men behind the ball.

You're obviously young enough not to remember Paul le Guen

Absolute fucking disgrace.. it's like the team gave up in the dressing room at HT -
What I'm clinging into is we can surely only get better especially once the 10 odd so players we have out injured start coming back and we have competition for places again. They are flying high at the moment but teams can rarely keep that up indefinitely. Hopefully there form will drop at some point.. if we're lucky just in time for the next OF. Also as someone said it's only September! Long long way to go in this league campaign yet, never give up hope!

Fuck up Ally.. never a yellow card in a million fucking years -
OK we've had 2 really bad results but before that we were doing ok in both league and Europe this season. If we sack every single manager we get in after just a couple of bad results we'll never get anywhere. I also think there are some mitigating circumstances here, we have 8 players who would be pushing for a 1st team start out injured which would be a huge blow for any team in the world and not something that Gio can control. Because of this he's limited in what team selection/tactics he can use due to lack of options. The thing that annoys me though over the last 2 games is the seeming lack of fight and desire from the players. Im honestly at a loss to explain why the fuck that is but for sure it is Gios job to figure that out and fix it.

That's just it though.. the players we have on the bench are even shitter than the ones on the pitch. -

We have about 8 players out injured who would usually be vying for the 1st team don't forget. There's not much he can do re player selection at the moment. He does seem to have lost the dressing room though.. the players out there just don't seem to be trying. Honestly don't know how or why
