docspiderman reacted to Blue Avenger in aftermath
We need set up differently. We are over reliant on one man and in the other, the forays are being well sussed.
The tempo of our play is abominable. Ponderous coming out from the back and a high baw to Morelos to beat four defenders doesn't work. Well, not if we want to win things.
We are simply ponderous and predictable. We need to be good at the basics and more options that only better quality can bring.

docspiderman reacted to Redwhiteandblue in Midfielders/Wingers
Our problem is that we're supposed to be playing a 4-3-3 system, but it's more 4-5-1 or at best 4-4-1-1.
Candeias and Kent should be playing closer to Morelos but instead play closer to our wings linking up with our wing backs. They should be closer to the corners of the 18yrd box corners rather than the wings. If they were further in field, the could link up better with Morelos and our CM's. Let the wing backs provide the width with through balls to them from the opposite side of the field, Kent to Tav, Candeias to whoever is playing left back. Would also gie them the options to link with the midfield. Kent tries it, but Candeias is always on the wing, he rarely cuts in. A lot of that comes from trying to cover Tavs inability to get back onto RB when we lose possession though...
Just my opinion...

Scarily reminds me of that wank we signed from St Johnstone.

Supporting my team vocally ,
Not behaving like spoiled brats that don’t get their own way.
It’s all about Rangers , not about one group of supporters that really rate their importance a lot higher that it is.

docspiderman reacted to Captain Hilts in "B-but The Cups Last Season"
We should be turning over Kilmarnock and Aberdeen. Both organised squads but full of talentless lumps. Our form against both this season is embarassing.

They put themselves before the team last night for me.

The Union Bears can get to fuck. If their backing is so important to the team then why choose to have a silent protest in one of our biggest games of the season. The Union Bears care more about the Union Bears than they do about our team and club.

He is brutal at striking a ball correctly .Another sclaff last night that any decent player would have buried
Would be more at home on a public park with his striking a ball ability

Maybe the policing factor should be looked at; Hibs fans have previous, Easter Road has had various problems from that stand but the police were stationed at the away support. Surely past experience should have had them lined up along the home stands.

Our former manager toes the media line and says the Hibs fan just went to kick the ball away and was confronted by Tav.This shows how we are going to be treated future if the authorities intervene.

docspiderman got a reaction from BlueKnight87 in Gerrard
It should have been obvious to our manager that in the second half Hibs were dominating midfield, only Kamara was getting close to them and that was why they ended up being more likely to win than we were. A simple change to bring fresh legs and aggression would have turned the game back in our favour. Sitting in the dug out with his coat up to his face hardly inspires urgency and when we have a team full of players who are not winners we need someone pushing them on.

Agree with you and,as you said, Kent gets the praise but his final ball and decision making are poor; too many touches and lacks the killer ball and shot

docspiderman reacted to kjw in Gerrard
Think Gerrard needs a strong no2 who's seen it and done it in the Archie Knox mould as he needs help as McAlister is fucking useles. The two of them sitting back in the dug out not urging them on to win the game in the last 10mins is shocking.

You're mental if you think that.
Such an average midfielder who has been a perennial loser time after time against Brown.
We need players a level above what we already have and you are suggesting we make our captain be a player who most of our fans probably think isn't even as good as who we already have never mind better.

docspiderman reacted to SeparateEntityMyArse in Decision making in the final 3rd
His assists stats are very strong, and obviously don't take into account the multitude of great crosses like several tonight into the 6 yard box which don't get stuck away.
Kent gets all the.praise for his trickery, but Candeais is equally as effective, and our right side is far more effective than our left.

Totally agree. Halliday has played out his skin this season and made a difference in key games. He might not be the most naturally gifted but he does a job for us and he fights like a fucking lion when pulls on the jersey. Fuck all wrong with is mindset.
And as for McGregor, Lafferty and Davis having the "right mindset"???? The OP must be mental. Or have a very short memory...
