Can we be more clinical with the players we have?

Cantwell - 1 goal this season.
Sima and Danilo only real threats and Sima is out of form just now.
 
I think bringing on Lammers when we were chasing goals just about sums up where we were at yesterday.

That’s on us for allowing then to take points off us. If we do our job, it’s not an issue. 

A lot more than that at Dens Park but anyway why should anyone who goes to see the game be inconvenienced at all?
 

Mediocrity is Balogun, Wright, Dessers, Lammers, Yilmaz, Matondo, Cifu, Souttar, Sterling, Davies, King and several others who are not good enough to play for us. 
Singling out Tav and Goldson arguably still 2 of the best players in their position in the league and culling them first won’t make us better. 

Although I get the frustration towards the guys who have been here longest.
 

Probably an unpopular take. But that goal was as much about set up as individual errors. Not sure Goldson can be blamed too much.
Once that ball gets flicked on it’s just a foot race and their striker is faster.
Can’t allow the free flick on in midfield. And have to narrow the gap across the back four. There’s no wingers to worry about. 

Good analysis!  I would add that we looked very disjointed today as well. Not sure Lawrence and Cantwell are a good fit in the same team.

There is no footballing ingenuity in Cifuentes.Stop the ball to control in pass it to the side or back, anyone can do that. Passing to Lundstram just means possession is lost, although that can be said of Sima and Cantwell also.

The best that can be said for Cifuentes is that he is a "continuity player" - he simply collects the ball and passes it to somebody else. That's it.
At least Dessers tries to make something happen - albeit usually unsuccessfully.

A lazy player with little brain and a very poor shooting technique who could not care less about our club.

My eyes see different as well. That is why I get so frustrated at his misplaced passes and constant loss of possession. I cannot fault his work rate and movement so maybe he just needs to calm down and keep it simple.

He can't be a water carrier when he can't keep possession of the ball to carry it.
He shuffled across back and forth most of the night and trotted back repeatedly after they'd easily broke through our front four and past him. Whilst I doubt stats would show he's one of the hardest workers, the eye tells the true picture that he offered minimal.

Makes a great spectacle when’s it’s happening, and if you’re a young fit guy with a bevy in you it’s great.
If you’ve got young kids, or you’re old, or you’ve asthma, it’s probably shite.
Sometimes think there’s a line crossed where it becomes selfish when games are getting delayed. Seen it with pyro, and even snowballs, where it’s more important to be rebellious than it is to enable the team to do well. 

If Barisic had been playing the way Yilmaz has been he'd have got crucified on here and at Ibrox.

Man for man, from midfield onwards I don’t think we’ve a fit player that gets in their midfield or forward 3. Maybe Cantwell. 
I don’t think they’re that great, but we are really poor. Beale has left us with a shambles.

I was brought in as an external consultant for a client in my line of work (workplace strategy), we proposed a solution that we felt was the best way to solve the clients problems, but their CFO went a different route. That’s fine, take the pay cheque, keep quiet and move on. 
 
Coming out after a decision has been made, publicly saying you backed a different route and then still remaining on the books, is fucking madness and it comes across as someone who thinks they know it all.

No doubt about that, but I still don't think it was the wrong decision to leave him out the squad. He's barely played more than a few games without picking up an injury.

We shouldn't even be looking at ten of the teams in the league - we should be destroying them and letting them worry about us.
The other team is slightly different but still try to impose our game on them.
