  1. Hmm unless Murray or Ellis 'officially' confirmed this (and why would they ?) i'd take what you read in the press with a pinch of salt. No businessman is going to announce to anyone they are going to meet the seller on day X, Y or Z. If they do, it's to throw the media a curve ball. Folk should start getting used to the fact Lloyds will be running us again next year, King is finished as a player in the game, Ellis was probably a non-starter from the begining, at least that's the way it's looking going by the timescale of events.
  2. He's made it clear his future is not at Ibrox, he must be sold this summer whether it's Liverpool or not, lets face it, if a club like Liverpool fancied him it's a fair bet lesser EPL sides do as well, whether he wants to sit tight for a season is another matter but i'd rather we cashed in than lose out on a transfer fee one year down the line. In an ideal world he'd be penning a new 5 year deal with us but he's made it clear Ibrox aint for him no more
  3. Can't see it materialising as many others have said but then again if the deal on the table is sign on a bosman, play in the champions league and leave in January for the EPL for a decent fee ? Stranger things and all that.................
  4. Agree, it's an odd one, Sounds like someone ? Liewell ? threw him a bone with the full intention of burying him and his paper with it ?
  5. It's a cracker, stay away form the casio keyboard loyalism and search about for the older songs, ones made with proper instruments and the like. The crappy cheap casio stuff is an insult to the very songs they sing.
  6. He's nothing more than a footballing mercanary. He only spent what the boss man said he could, and he only takes the highest wage on offer much like anyone else in society, you can't really blame him. Quality manager
  7. Agree Colin, walter told the fans last week he will make his mind up in two weeks, to me it hasnt even been 7 days yet. Their are no quotes from walter or the club in that article to make it clear to me. All from the same paper that was telling us this meeting was taking place on the Monday just passed, now they are saying it's tomorrow ? Nothing new in that article except for The Sun contradicting itself with it's rehashed lines time and time again. Poor attempt at a headline to sell copy, they'd don't have a fecking clue what's going to happen
  8. He's a Scottish internationalist with champions league experience, only us would sell our self short and let players go for rock bottom prices. Hopefully we have learned from our mistakes in the past like Charlie Adam. We should be looking for roundabout £1.5million mark, plus add on's. The tims got a million for that fud donati yet we're getting offered 300k for naismith what the fuck is going on The tims got 2M for Craig Beattie FFS
  9. You are probably right but need to start getting money for our players that have failed and can't cut it at RFC, the tims have done it a few times with guys like Craig Beattie et al. That said i can see him being another success down there ala Burke, Adam etc
  10. The Mirror I'd happily shift him on but for nothing less than 1.5M
  11. Personally if Bougherra goes to England i can see him being Boumsong MK II. His game would be better served in continental Europe, regardless as long as we get good money for him i couldn't care where he ends up
  12. I rate him as well, he's been excellent in the middle of the park this year so i'd like to see him stay but can we afford to let him run down his contract ? 1M for a player with a year left ? I'd give him a new two year deal but i just can't see the materialising with the state of the club at the moment hence why i'd be tempted to cash in
  13. Beasley is gone, over 3 years he's managed about 5 games a year, complete waste of money over the piece. Sell Bougherra, Shagger, Lafferty, Naismith, McCulloch In an ideal world i'd keep Bougherra, Shagger and McCulloch, but if we can get good value for Bougherra and bearing in mind the lack of games he's managed this year, sell. Alexander is a perfectly capable replacement for McGregor albeit he wasn't fantastic when he came on against them the other night but has proved himself over his time with us. McCulloch has performed well this year but it's a new contract or sell situation so i'd take the 1M from the krauts and reinvest the cash. As mentioned by others, Davis, Miller and Thomson must all be kept.
  14. Dutch auction please, sell sell sell
