  1. Danny Wilson played poorly against Aberdeen. Lee Miller absolutely battered him and got the better of him at the goal. His distribution was also very poor. The lad is still young and learning though so that was to be expected. At a time when the team is struggling it was time to revert back to the old trusted partnership of Weir and Bougherra and remove young Danny from the melting pot. Too much pressure too soon can damage a lad. Getting the three points was the most important thing and that's what we did. Bougherra had a fantastic game and offered us more going forward and defensively. Once again Walter got it spot on. (tu)

totally agree why didn t he play yesterdays team against the sheep though?

  2. get thompson out of the team immediately he starts off great for 10 mins disappears for 35 then second half hes invisible

never seen a guy so unfit average opposition midfielders skip past him boogie was our best midfielder he showed these 4 in midfield

what a midfielder does runs at people and commits defenders

  3. Gough makes no reference to fouling players merely playing hard creating intimidation. Thomson's bone crushing tackles always end with infringements which end up being a detriment to the team. Big Gough was a true leader.

spot on king richard also said that wilson was bullied out of the game against lee miller

which i totrally agree withand never won a ball in the air hope he can impose himself

better during games like this against thugs like him

  4. could nt beat a average motherwell team

could nt beat a shocking kilmarnock team

    were outplayed by st johnstone

like the alamo at times against dundee

the abandoned game against utd backs to the wall

aberdeen beat us with 5 players out

average players playing in a crap league same again next week at falkirk!

i will be there as usual but getting severely pissed off watching these duds

thinking of wearing my top next week might get a game!

  5. Only 4 goals scored away from home in the league this season - a truely shocking stat!

Doesn’t help when Walter Smith has a tactical nightmare once again, the players fail to turn up, and cannot hit a barn door.

So today, the manager started with Kevin Thomson, Kenny Miller and Madjid Bougherra on the bench . Steven Whittaker, David Weir, Kyle Lafferty and Lee McCulloch kept their place. In midfield, not one player was in their proper position, and Kyle Lafferty partnered Kris Boyd.

We are told by the manager that David Weir would not be able to play three games in a week, yet he starts today, with Madjid Bougherra on the bench?

Steven Whittaker continues to get a game, whilst Madjid Bougherra is on the bench, along with Andrew Little (who the manager think’s can play right back), and Jordan McMillan is nowhere to be seen – 17 minutes gone, and once again Whittaker fails to close down, and we are 1-0 down. It happens EVERY WEEK! Why does he continue to get a game, whilst better players are left out?

Lee McCulloch kept his place in the team, whilst Kevin Thomson sat on the bench? Both had terrible games against Stuttgart, but the two previous matches – St. Mirren and Kilmarnock, Thomson was the better of the two, and played not too bad. Lee McCulloch had a complete and utter nightmare today, and was eventually hooked – yet will still start the next game.

Our central midfield pairing was Lee McCulloch and Steven Naismith – what fucking idiot came up with that one? The both of them are simply not good enough. They got in each others way, failed to look for the ball, gave away fouls – well McCulloch did, because Naismith was too scared to put the boot in....they hid – bunch of fucking fairies.

Steven Davis failed to show up, he was absolutely hopeless, and his inconsistacy is a major problem. Did he complete a pass today?

John Fleck, who impressed in a central role the other week was shunted out onto the left, where he is completely wasted, and one of the worst partnerships in Scotland, was tried out once again, and completely failed. Kris Boyd and Kenny Miller had been linking up well in the league, yet Miller found himself on the bench?

Kyle Lafferty would be better in a circus, because he certainly aint a football player. The least said about him, McCulloch and Naismith, the better.

Kenny Miller did well when he came on, the typical Nacho Novo substitution was a joke, and Kris Boyd and Danny Wilson played well, Boyd especially, but he has to take his chances in these so-called bigger games.

For the first 35 minutes of the 1st half, we were terrible. Second best, couldn’t win a tackle, couldn’t hold on to possession, and couldn’t find one of our own players. Our set pieces and delivery are a complete and utter disgrace, and clearly not worked on. It took us the best part of 35 minutes to get going, which is unacceptable. A side with no pace, balance, width, creativity....too many players lacking the very basics, too many schoolboy errors! Absolutely no drive, passion, commitment, ability, leaderhip or fight. Better 2nd half, and there was only one team on the park, but that doesn’t matter when you fail to take your chances.

Yet again, that bead rhattling bastard, Craig Thomson fails to give Rangers a penalty, yes he should be slated for it, but we had more than enough chances to put them away.

Today we had enough chances to win 2 games, and we didn’t take any of them. Anyone blaming Kyle Lafferty obviously doesn’t have a clue, or has not played football! Kris Boyd went for goal, he got it horribly wrong, and the ball came to Lafferty at about 100mph, whilst on the rise. Even Edin Dzeko would have struggled to convert that!

Kris Boyd made some good chances for himself, and didn’t take them, the one in the 2nd half especially. Lee McCulloch had a good opportunity but failed to get it on target, Kenny Miller had a few snap shots, and missed the target, and both Boyd, and Papac missed chances at the end.

Our pathetic run at Pittodrie under Walter Smith continues, our players continually fail to repay both the management and fans, and the management team had yet another howler – tactically inept, a dinosaur, and his two puppets, who don’t have a clue!

An all round poor performance from everyone, and they are dragging us down even further. Another chance to put the pressure on one of the worst celtc sides EVER, and yet again we fail.

I hope the players enjoy tonight, because I certainly won’t, not that they give a shit.

agree entirely that bastard whittaker cost us again and every time fleck got the ball he punted into the box!

he was up against mo ross ffs did he not think to take him on just once?as for naismith centre of midfield is walter nuts the guys a fairy

  6. Funny how wilson gets no stick and hes a well known tim and miller gets all the abuse in the world

the amount of hypocrits on here is unbelievable they both wear a rangers shirt ffs

well miller did PLAY for them and scored against us, hence the dogs abuse.

    1. miller scores against the tims[anybody who doe s thats a hero in my eyes]

    2.millers not a tim

3.walter brought him here on good money from mighty derby would u stay there?

    4.the tims detest him

5;anybody in a rangers shirt gets my backing home or away

  7. :D I love the get tae fuck comments. If he plays shit hot on tuesday all the haters will be wanting to have his babies cut the big guy some slack we all knew he would'nt be playing today anyway.

Wouldn't play him again never mind Tuesday!

i would never play him again cause hes not a proddy but thats for another day :pipe:

same as a certain d wilson?

  8. Sent away for 4 tickets for the game against them a matter of days ago and recieved tickets this morning. Also £20 a ticket with no add ons for admin charges etc. Credit where its due good service and "reasonable" priced.

same here excellent service did u get hamilton tickets as well wee woman was charming!

  9. Im a supporter so i will be buying mine no matter what. The club needs the backing. If i just wanted entertainment i would go to the cinema. Its about more than that. Also if people do not buy the tickets then the chances of getting better talent is that much further away. Slightly self defeating..

I appreaciate that you want to follow the team and will no matter what. But hypothetically speaking would you still get your ticket if they stripped the squad and raised the price to say £650 to make up the deficit from other folk giving up the ticket?

I just feel that we are one of the most loyal supporters in the world but sometimes I feel that the club take this for granted and expect us to fork out top dollar at every opportunity.

Yes i would. If we dont buy the tickets then we will lose our assets. Sporting advertising ervenue is down big time and the club needs the money. I would double my season ticket price if it helps the club was to get out of the shit.

    same well said

  10. all we have to do is say to eufa on thursday is that we wont take any more away tickets for the next 2 years

then we might escape with a fine as someone who goes to most euro away games and was in romania im sick and tired

of the scumbags who follow us to away european games in europe then you never see them at a winters night in forfar.

the barcelona game a couple of seasons ago was an embarrasment pissing in the streets fighting with each other shouting

obsenities to locals . the morning after at breakfast in the hotel half of the pr***s did nt even know the score they were still pissed

this happens on every trip ive been on the decent fans are being dragged down by these tits ther only intrest is getting pissed

no wonder scotland is top of the western world for liver disease. rant over!

agree with bits of your post mate but why should guys like yourself be punished for the others actions

im 1 of the guys who will still travel to games even if we dont take tickets but i would rather we did take them as i would rather be in a section for rangers fans as opposed to a section with home fans as i dont know if they would turn on me

like yourself i would hate to miss a euro game but the name of rangers is more important than any one person at the moment

  12. agree entirely the guys a tosser would nt have him in a rangers shirt again doe s nothing

    What's this shit all about?

Some poeple on here need to take a f*cking long, hard look at themselves.

I don't understand how Thomson is a "tosser" also? :lol

    Please explain Ivybank..

    cant pass more than 3 yards no pace does nt close down quick enough never gets in the penalty box(twice in 2 years and scored TWICE tims and kaunas}

knackered after 60 mins even when he was fit! just back from romania and again his display was hopeless most bears at the game agreed

woulld have mcculloch before him any day of the week and hes not the greatest or even jordan mcmillan who was ok against dundee

players like tommo are 10 a penny in the scottish game tosser maybe a bit strong but im sick of nonentities strolling past him week in week out

  13. Thomson contributes fuck all - im sick of it.

2 goals in 50 appearences for a £2million midfielder? Is he a creative force in the team? Like fuck he is....

Its not as if he's tearing round the park flying into tackles, bossing the middle of the park. He just causally jogs around a few yards in front of the defence, square ball after square ball after square ball...

Thomo has the makings of a decent player if he could just try to give a shit. DROP HIM.

Sooner Edu comes back the better.

    Future club captain?

agree entirely the guys a tosser would nt have him in a rangers shirt again doe s nothing
