  1. I was also brought up that way, It hasn't however resulted in me using that as reason in any way shape or form to decide whether or not I'm voting Yes or No in the biggest referendum this country has faced. Rangers played zero part in that decision. Rangers will still be around for me to support either way!
  2. That attempt at a slur won't deter me. Why don't you answer the question?
  3. Rangers is to do with Rangers. There are no add-ons for me. I love the football club. Why would my football club influence my decision in this countries most important moment? Rangers have nothing to do with independence. Are you voting No because you are a Rangers fan?
  4. Would love to see some of these guys getting a chance. Cracking goals. Looks promising.
  5. Two words in a post... now I see why some Ney-sayers have such a high post count!
  6. What is that even meant to mean? I think I know what you are insinuating though. Are you saying that because users with a low post count have an opinion that differs from your own, that those posters must be "timposters". Are you saying that I have made nearly 200 posts, just to wind you up? I think people are going to have to get used to the fact that some Rangers fans simply want independence. I can accept some won't.
  7. Don't see what that has to do with independence. For the purpose of clarity, I do not agree with sexual abuse in general, child or otherwise. Independence isn't a roman catholic cause. Society is already divided. It would be a sad day if this resulted in a dangerous situation, I know that nationalists would not cause any danger if things didn't go our way, I hope unionists are the same.
  8. I'm a Rangers fan and a nationalist. I realise you did use the phrase "most" nationalists".Those statistics don't add up anyways. So only people who have sexy time with sheep, are Roman catholics and celtic supporters, whom have either had sex with a family member or are a result of two family members having sex, are racist and to throw a spanner in the works, their father died before birth, are the people are most nationalists are? Didn't realise there was so many. I need to watch myself.
  9. Yup you got me... that would be horrendous. Made a wee error including muslim because the Quran is simply destructive when followed by certain individuals. Nothing against the majority who abide by it peacefully and sensibly. Hmmm, to be honest I really don't think the schools "brain wash" its pupils. I once knew someone who got moved to a catholic school and he didn't become "brainwashed". Was much they same as he always had been and he attended for years. Anyways that school system is slowly but surely breaking up, I know of two schools merging not far from where I used to live...one catholic and one protestant. Simply put I really don't think the younger generation care as much about all that in comparison to anyone over the age of 30. Its dying out. All religion, RC,COS etc etc is in my opinion dying in the UK. Those members figures quoted by the various organisations are in my opinion inflated in the extreme. Many people tick a box not really thinking about what it means... just that they "come from a RC or COS family" To add in a last point... slightly unrelated and pointless but there is a street but 5 minutes away from me right now and it has 5 churches scattered on it or very close to it. Of the 5 one is up for sale by COS for residential or commercial purposes, one is being developed into an existing pub, one is now a nightclub, one is now a resturant/pub and one is still in use as a church. I feel that because religion is dying in the UK, this fear of any one group taking over is OTT.
  10. Things like this mean absolutely nothing to me when it comes to Rangers. Rangers may have been protestant in the past but times have and still are changing. I'm an atheist and tbh I would't care if the whole of Scotland were RC, or COS or muslim or welsh as someone humorously added in. Seriously as a club we need to move on from all this. We should move on as quick as possible and make this club a modern all accepting institution, not just within the club as it is now but within the fan base....which I'm afraid is not (I was told to stay away from Ibrox because I'm going to vote yes). Imagine the respect Rangers would have if we moved away from all of this while the beasts from the east continue with their poppy booing, sectarian and terrorist supporting ways. Lose this "Rangers fans are loyalists, protestants and RC haters" tag and we would only benefit. Keep it and we will continue to be looked down upon by the rest of scottish society. I know we shouldn't care...but we should want was it is best for our club.
  11. For wanting independence? or for supporting Rangers whilst wanting independence? Should everyone supporting Rangers have the same political view? I'm not sure why exactly you are calling me that.
  12. The trend is that people are usually default at NO, but when people turn YES they rarely turn back to a NO. No voters are much easier to swing to yes than the other way around. That should be the worry for the No Campaign. That and the fact No voters will not turn out in as high of numbers as the Yes vote will in percentage terms.
  13. Which is my nightmare. Nobody can ever take Rangers away from me, not you or anyone else. If this is the attitude that will fill Ibrox then fair enough but I know that I am not the only one. I am 21 years old and will finish university in a city in Scotland in May. I have a job lined up and was looking into buying my first season ticket when I move back to the west coast (purchased by family as a child). I'm afraid though that your comment has really worried me. I will support the club but will not put up with that if thats what Ibrox will become. =/
  14. I'll also be voting Yes. An independent Scotland is just the ticket for this country now. Just hope this year of the union stuff never happens at Rangers in an official capacity.
  15. So you want the political party in charge of our country to not do what the people want? How can they win? Politicians want power, They get it through votes, to get votes people need to vote them, people vote for things they want, politcal parties create a manifesto with a view of gaining votes. Seriously am I missing something?
