Have you seen the interim figures released by Celtic this week?. The financial disparity is massive and is not going to change by next season so the honest answer is no. I do however expect us to pick up points from the other teams and at least be competitive. Not a popular answer but an honest one i'm afraid.

Have you gone round and spoken to every fan?, If the answer is no then it's not really a fact is it? People i have spoken to certainly don't love being losers but the vast majority are realistic in their expectations for this season.

Played in 4 games against us in under a month and was a stand-out every game. We ended up playing them on a Monday and then the next night before we beat them. I think John Greig threatened to break his leg (used to do this a lot) but couldn't get close enough.

A perfectly reasonable point as playing in front of 50,000 at Rangers or 2-3,000 at Ross County, Partick, Kilmarnock etc are entirely different. I have seen international players arrive at Rangers and freeze as they couldn't take the mental pressure of living life in a goldfish bowl. Alternatively i have seen players of whom little was expected flourish and handle the pressure. People having a go just for the sake of it imo.

Not true. It was only under DMs tenure that we had unlimited (in the main) financial resources and look how that ended. DM used everybody else's money ( Joe Lewis, DK?,NTL, JJB,BOS, MIM, Fans) and took us to the brink before selling to Craig Whyte,after been warned not to by members of the clubs board. We need to build a sustainable business model that protects us from repeating past mistakes, one that requires careful recruitment allied to a modern thinking youth set-up. In short one that requires patience. It is that simple.
