  1. It's got absolutely nothing to do with those who were killed or affected by the Famine. To suggest so is just nonsense. The song is basically directed at Scottish-born Celtic supporters who hold more of an affinity with another country than their own. These supporters constantly mourn the Famine and claim it as part of their heritage. So we simply pose the question: It's over, why not go "home"? Is that clear enough for you, or do you just like to be offended on someone else's behalf? That is not clear in anyway..... Do the words talk about plastic paddies????? No! These kind of songs just land us in the shit every time. When a song has very few lyrics but do include "go home" it can be interpretated as a Racist phrase. Im sorry but it can... And if it has nothing to do with the migration of the victims of the famine then why mention this? Explain why the mention of the famine is there?...Im all for winding the scum up ...but not at the expense of the club through bad publicity and the possibility of fines and points being removed..And also if we are talking about people who care about another country more than their own...does that mean that we shouldnt fly the Northern Ireland flags...no i dont think so no one is telling anyone to go home, the song states "The famine is over,WHY dont you go home". do yo understand.
  2. it has to be the 0-3 at porkheed, when we won the league, I dislocated my knee-cap that day when mccann scored, stood the full 90 mins, couldnt sit down on the bus due to my leg being unable to bend, i later walked (hobbled) the length of paisley rd to see the players come back. fantastic day.(even though it cost me 3 weeks work)
