  1. Ticket office could do with an overhaul and a bit of transparancy. Got a ticket for 2009 final through cccs and the boy behind me who wasn't on cccs didn't. He had a seaon ticket for over 30 years. Should have got one before me. I reckon the ticket office could allocate loyalty points to be used for finals etc every season to those who keep renewing st's. In otherwords reward loyalty.

Tbh I genuinely thought the refs were just incredibly bad at what they do until I walked out of Ibrox after that Hibs game. I genuinely felt after that game the referee actively wanted and did influence the game in favour of the opposition team. His performances when reffing our games since have shown that he does have a bias against us.

The decisions that day were incredible and that was followed up by allowing a season ending tackle on Ryan Jack go unpunished

That is scarily accurate and while the powers that be appoint these cunts, its not a level playing field. Refs do influence and even decide games sometimes. Especially in the ye cannae sing the famine song backwater of a nation we have allowed

This whole split league thing is a complete headfuck and was introduced for no actual reason other than some arsehole in the Sfa thought he had a "good idea" and had fuck all better to do with his time.

It was introduced as 44 league games plus europe league cup scottish cup was deemed too many games. Split is nonsense. Actually unfair for many reasons

or hivs will have to come to Ibrox 3 times this season as we would have played all teams twice at Ibrox already.

we could have a Scottish football melt down shortly.

Was funnily enough looking at this last night. Fairest way would be Sheep. Am sure we had to go to Shitoddrie 3 times one season. Prso scored and we won the league in the end!

  5. Can we have a bit of respect for a fellow Bear, rather than just call him pish, shite etc. He pissed on Scott Brown all day long in our victory at Hampden.

Struth tried to set standards for the club.

For me, that means staff, players and supporters.

If the name callers were in the District and AH walked in they'd be queuing up for autographs and photos.

  6. The 85-86 team that finished 5th, didn't have great quality but had plenty more fight than the current squad. That is surely one of the first requirements when you pull on the jersey. Battle for 90 minutes. Sadly lacking with a lot of our players.

  7. Seems very random the cccs this season. Have had Partick Hearts and St Johnstone and semi final. No idea about Sheep HIVS or taigs. Time for a loyalty points system like Chelsea. Example being I got a Falkirk cup final ticket in 2009. Have had a st since 93-94. The chap behind me had his since 1979 and didn't get one because he wasn't on cccs. He should have got a cup final ticket before me.

  8. So in summary, we lose a Rangers fan to injury in the first half, Holt scores, dropped for Sunday after playing in our 'best performance' then an ex Rangers European finalist gets the guy who played instead of Holt on Sunday sent off for the 3rd time in 3 months, then an ex Ranger, whose Dad is a tarrier goes up the park and scores injury time equaliser. I think Pedro nailed Brian to the cross.
Always look on the bright side. The pub serves beer from 9am Saturday.

Watching his press conference I found his comments from about 12 minutes onward very interesting in view point of a foreign coach working in Scottish Football. His questions to the media

    1. Do Scotland have any top referees = No

    2. Do we have any current players known world wide = No

    3. How long has our UEFA coefficient been decreasing = 10 years

    4. Has our international team qualified for any recent tournaments = No

Are we happy with this ?

The fact that he put the refs at the top of the list for me was important. Referees worldwide work from the same set of rules but of course some of it comes down to the interpretation of certain rules.

The game on Sunday, if you look at that game and probably most normal Scottish fixtures and put a ref in charge from say, Spain, Germany. Netherlands or any country where the emphasis is on technical ability over physicality, then there would probably of been about three red cards, considerable more bookings and about 20 minutes of genuine uninterrupted football out of the 90 minutes played.

It seems in Scotland that from the top down we have forgone technical ability and become blind to the over compensation of the physical aspect of our game. We then every season have this scrapping over the ashes of another failed European campaign by our teams competing in Europe and wonder where it went wrong.

If we had games officiated in a way that the borderline tackles were punished instead of let off and players were sent of for tackles which we deem reckless but would probably be seem as dangerous in any other country then perhaps the skilful more technical players could flourish and Scottish football in general could improve.

This is a take on Scottish football in general, as I find it laughable that in one hand we have guys like Malky Mckay working for the SFA and trying to put a frame work for football be coached and played in the right manner. Then in the other hand we have media and pundits alike applauding the way the game was played on Sunday.

You can sit on  Saturday or Sunday and watch football from morning till night and I can guarantee you not see a more physical game all day than the one from Scotland.

    Fair points well made
