It is evident to see that the team is being stretched to the absolute max. A right back playing centre back and a centre mid playing right back and Kyle Lafferty starting on a regular basis is never good for the team. Whittaker, though, has been reasonably sound at centre half although I never feel safe with him playing there. Edu, well that's just a whole different kettle of fish. All through the season he has been receiving criticism which in certain aspects has been deserved. Many people wrote off McCulloch's injury and that the team would be better off in the middle of park without him. How wrong could we all be? McCulloch provides us with that bit of fight, bite and height in the middle of the park. Now, I don't know how Edu fairs with Lee in terms of height but he certainly doesn't fill the gap left by McCulloch. In recent games we have been overrun and out battled in midfield and I for one will be glad to see the return of McCulloch. Bougherra, even though he has been pish the season compared to last, is vital at the back due to experience as a centre back. Being a natural in his position, which Whittaker is not, it'll be good to have things back to normality when they both return. Maybe Lee shouldn't walk straight back into the team but one thing I do stand by is that Ness shouldn't be dropped from the starting 11. Does anyone know what both are expected to return (Lee and Bougie)? Just my opinions mind
