Lets be honest, the SPL are in the shitter, so if they can fine us millions of pounds, its a nice convenient way of filling the financial black hole facing the SPL

I understand the desire to see the SPL teams fail in Europe this season, but lets be honest Scotland's standings are a complete embarrassment now. Furthermore, it does us absolutely no favours, when we come to play in Europe again in 3 years (or whatever it may be) we are facing a ludicrous qualification process. I realise that we have essentially been the only team to contribute to the co-efficient in the last 4 years, but to have only one team in the top 50 is very poor, and to be honest, with our absence it is only going to get worse.

If we can afford not to be promoted then I would prefer that. However, I think we have promised most of our new signings that we would be back in the SPL in a year or two, my worry would be that particularly the foreign players that we have signed wouldn't be willing to hang around for more than that playing lower division football. Just a hunch.

The problem is that he is always going to have the reputation as the aggressor. So whether its even on subconscious on the referee's behalf, a bad tackle on Ian Black will always be punished less harshly than a bad tackle on another player, beacuse refs just think that he is only getting back what he always gives out.

It will be tight between Little and Sandaza. If Little was played through the middle then he could probably reach 30+, but can probably get 25ish even from right wing

I can understand your point, but I just feel that the choice should be left with the players, regardless of their nationality.

With his Serie A pedigree he should stroll this level, but then you look at Goian. Good to hear that he looked composed

As much as I couldn't give a flying toss about Scotland, the reality is that playing for one's country, regardless of what country that is, is still one of the greatest honours that can be bestowed upon a player. Ian Black himself said as much, that he wouldn't let the idiots spoil one of the best moments of his career. If a Rangers players was to remove himself from contention, due to our treatment at the hands of the SFA then he would have my support 100%. I just don't think we should remove the choice from our own players, particularly those who have shown loyalty and the others who have taken a calculated career risk by joining us in the Third Division
